I think the guy is trying too much, and needs a publicist, a coach and possibly a manager and even then I doubt he can redeem himself fully from this shocking self exposure.Many a time we have seen a lack of understanding of the impact of a persona on not only the reputation of an artist, but also the lasting effect on the brand as far as marketing is concerned. I am not sure on whether the fans he will pick up due to this audacious stunt will outnumber the people who will be turned off, but to me it is simply the height of a tacky and deplorable non-style.

I am not sure this has anything to do with ushoga though, apart from the usual homophobia.If anything, it has more to do with trying to maintain the image of "urijali"

Now I know a range of srtists as diverse as Beenie Man, Jigga, Michael Jackson and Lil Wayne have engaged in some elaborate crotch grabbing.Apart from the unparalleled Fela Kuti, I do not recall an incident like this.

It could be my limited acquintance with the performing arts, but then again this could be a desperate cry to reinvent the scene with some enticing new gimmicks.You never know what those sista dus and mipashkuna might go for.

I suggest he try a new direction in the occupation of male stripper, judging from the picture, that looks closer to what he was doing than bongoflava.

I never liked Afande Sele, and this just confirms the sharpness of my sixth sense.
