Last year b4 the former premier left we had signed an MoU where we are to build an industrial Zone in Moyale (a town which exists on both sides of the border) worth $200mhawa ndio neighbors ambao tungeanza ku engage nao kwa biashara...sio wajinga wengine wa kushangilia ukuta na emergency landing...Both ethiopia and kenya have tremendous untapped potential... if only ethiopia opens up its borders for trade, we can both go far...
The idea is to have workers from Kenya and Ethiopia in equal numbers working at the complex to produce goods are needed in both our markets and we have raw materials for them...e.g leather shoes, Belts, clothes, house utensils,glass, ..... This would guarantee security when Oromo's and other tribes from both sides of the border will have to maintain harmonious relationships so as to keep the complex running...
