Credit Analyst Partner
We are seeking a skilled, experienced credit analyst to join our growing organization. In this position, you will analyze financial data to evaluate the likelihood with which a borrower will honor their financial obligations. You should have a passion for data, an aptitude for mathematics, and solid analytical thinking skills.
Duties and Responsibilities
Determine creditworthiness of both existing and prospective customersExamine financial transactions and credit history on a case-by-case basis (applications, balance sheets, bank statements, legal documents etc.)Carry out ratio, trend, and cash flow analysisGenerate sound projections that can be justified with dataJudiciously analyze data and create clear, objective reports—assessing risks and benefits involvedComply with all credit policies and guidelines; regularly monitor loans for complianceContinually observe corporate portfolio asset qualityDraft models that predict trends and patterns in credit market
Credit Analyst Requirements and Qualifications
BS degree in business, statistics, or related fieldSignificant work history as a credit analyst strongly preferredExceptional analytical abilities and a strong working knowledge of statistical packages and financial softwareCommitment to remaining current on all legal, compliance, and market risk mattersProven experience analyzing cash flow, leverage, collateral, and customer creditworthinessSolid communication and presentation skills
