Pia ni lazima ujue specifications na aina ya banda, upatikanaji wa maji (kama ni ya kununua kwenye mkokoteni au una infrastructure ya kuvuta maji karibu na banda). Pamoja na heat & lightining cost kutokana na eneo na aina ya banda.

Disposal costs au uta-recover na kuuza kama mbolea kama utatumia cages.

Depreciation na maintenance cost ya farm structures na implements kama feeders na drinkers, building materials, light bulbs etc.. hiyo una-add kwenye cost.

Mradi wa kuku 500 probably kwa dar es salaam utaanza kukupa faida baada ya miezi nane mpaka mwaka. Depending on the business model.

Kwa hiyo, nadhani gharama ya banda ni muhimu sana iwe kwenye business model/plan, kwa sababu banda kwenye mifugo ndiyo linaloleta tofauti kubwa kwenye kupata faida.
