All these places have decent infrastructure, good size and an urban feel...they all have a minimum population of 300,000
If Kisumu was elevated to city status? Mwanza and Arusha deserve too, they equal Kisumu. What I'm suprised is to learn Eldoret and Nakuru are not cities. While Mbeya is one of the city in Tanzania, frankly speaking Eldoret and Nakuru surpass Mbeya city by far not even close

kwa wingi wa watu bila shaka towns za Tanzania zina watu wengi kuliko za kenya ila kwa maendeleo haswa infrastructure hapo ndio tunakuwa na advantage...sababu kuu ya hili ni katiba yetu...nchi imegawanywa kwa majimbo (counties)...kwa hiyo pesa zikitolewa na serikali kuu, hizi serikali ndogo ndogo za county zinagawanyiwa pesa ili kuendeleza mashinani...yaani Kenya tuseme imegawanyika kwa nchi ndogo ndogo zinazotawalwa na Governor ambaye ni kama rais wa eneo hilo...kama kweli hizo ni picha za malindi bhasi arusha na mwanza pia zinaweza kukaa aiseee....
tuseme ukweli miji mingi ya kenya imeipiku miji mingi sana hapa tanzania....
Apart from Nairobi Do u have direct international flights to any other city in Kenya,?Thank you for recognizing my home town Eldoret, its city status was long-overdue.
It has major factories, international airport, international road linking to Uganda, national university, national hospital, infrastructures such as pipeline, railway and so on

Like Ukiwa pale JKIA au hata Atatürk- Istanbul there are direct flights to Kilimanjaro International Airport and Abeid Aman Karume International Airport -Zanzibar,

Condor flies to Kilimanjaro n Zanzibar too plus ET. FYI soon international airlines will be flying to Mwanza n Songwe with completion of terminal buildings there.Yes we have quite a number, an example being Condor with their direct flight from Munich to Mombasa.
Zanzibar being a tourism driven country, makes sense to have direct international flights to its airport.
Remember you people are a combination of multiple countries, though still lagging behind a small country like Kenya on just about everything.

Actually 6 nil as fly Dubai, KLM n Omanair fly to multiple airports within Tanzania. And mind u they r all planning to fly to three destinations within Tanzania.
