CNN and probably the rest of the western Jamaas are trying to deceive the world and assuming Africans are still uneducated and poor to such an extent that we can not make sound argument in the eye of the white thieves.

CNN is comparing Taxes payed by 5 Gold Companies with the Tax invoice presented to Acacia(as Gold mining company) and concluding that this amount of tax is relatively huge comparable to the sum of taxes paid by those companies.

CNN is intentionally skipping few key facts about this Saga.

1-The president comittee discovered that there was underdeclaration of amount of gold present in one container. The correct minimum amount of gold in one container was at approximate 28kg(Maximum was at 45kg).This equals to 5600kg for 200 containers which were seized for one month.Multplying this figure for 12 you will get nearly 67200kg annually.

Current world Gold producer ranks at around 90000kg annually(leave aside the underdeclaration of gold production techniques)

Tanzania has turned to be one honest Nation to speak about this grand theft world wide...is it not fair because Tanzania as a poor third world nation can not be trusted???

2-CNN has not done its homework by acting blind,Skipping another fact that in those containers it is not all about Gold but significant amount of other valuable metals were also present in those containers making Acacia a background producer of those "white" Gold. The gold company has never paid any tax to cover this so called Platinum Group Metals.

Someone will wonder how come CNN believes so much from the Company once proven guilty for tax evasion rather than the poor, politically stable and straggling Nation which for decades failed to develope despite all sorts of resources?

Someone will wonder how come CNN and the company never talk about under declaration of absolute numbers of containers claimed to be taken abroad for smelting.

Someone will wonder how come CNN does not talk about illegal existance of acacia in Tanzania.

Neither CNN nor any other western media can not tell our story (Tanzania/Africa) the way it is, they have their own agenda. Their agenda is what they say about Africa. Akon, said in Kigali ''we must re-brand Africa the way we want''

jingalao you simply make all this contemptuous comments just to woo cheap attention today. Your arguments are baseless and misaligned. Go do your research again before showing up with this callous jibe.
My arguments are based on facts available not heresay biased and one sided news stories!
