I actually think it was just an error ----Ulike you guys I usually dont just blindly believe everything I read just because it was written officially, even if it doesn't make any sense or logic , If the perssenger train will be able to drive at 160km/hr then in theory freight train should also be able to reach a speed close to that... Also in other paragraphs they mention freight speed at 120km/hr so, that 80km/hr must be a mistake... just like in Kenya's case I know if the rail is electrified the freight trains will be able to move at 120km/hr not unless faster freight speed will negatively affect passenger train scheduling in which case they will reduce the speed on purpose
