Cost comparison SGR Kenya vs SGR Tanzania

Asante sana kwa kuleeta taarifa yenyewe unaona inaelezea vizuri kabisa

“The cranes will be replaced by CRBC. We had a meeting with them on Thursday and that was the agreement. The first two cranes are expected to be replaced in the next few weeks. I am made to understand that their shipment has already started. Eventually, we shall get new replacements for the six,” Mr Macharia told Sunday Nation.
The situation has now forced Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) to move in and use its cranes to perform the tasks that CRBC was supposed to have done, depending on eight rubber-tyred gantry cranes to assist in loading, offloading and movement of containers around the yard. The port agency has also distanced its self from the non-functioning cranes, saying they are just a host of the CRBC and KRC. KPA said its six Rail Mounted Gantry (RMG) Cranes manufactured in China by ZPMC Ltd are working.
“We have an RMG station with the six cranes providing loading zones namely lines Z4, Z7, Z8, Z9 and Z10, whereby Z4 and Z9 are dedicated for loading of dangerous cargo on SGR. From these loading zones, the cranes are used to load the bloc trains. Without these six RMGs at the loading zones, then we would not be able to attain our daily target of 10-12 trains,” Mr Bernard Osero, KPA Head of Corporate Affairs, said. https://www.nation.co.ke/news/Puzzl...t-Mombasa-port/1056-5121644-iws9cb/index.html

--------- Hiyo picha niliyo post ya gantry crane ni ya hii wiki, povu lingi linakumaliza , once again, crane za blue ni za KPA, za red ndo za CRBC

The cranes are not working..chinese brought their 1840 cranes to kenya dumpsite at 2bn cost

Ego ya kuniambia hakuna foreigner ataendesha commercial treni ndani ya Tz.....

There is a reason why up to now ATCL cannot fly outside the continent!
No commercial trips will be done by foreigners
Ofcourse, ATCL cant fly outside the continent because it was a halfdead airline with no IATA certs..But the trip from seattle washington to dar was done by Tz born pilots

After undergoing vigorous training from the Boeing HQ in seattle..... this was even before the pilots were already experienced flying other aircraft before.

As you can see, Tz wanajua kujipanga sio eti 2 years when you have acquired an asset( plane/train) no one is qualified to operate it

Boeing hawawezi wakakupatia ndege kabla hawaja approve pilots watakaoendesha hio ndege, wacha kushobokea vitu vya kipuzi! The only way you leave with a plane from Washington is if your pilots have been certified by Boeing. they also have to certify your engineers to make sure they can conduct regular maintenance.

I also saw that.....from the few photos I have seen.....TZ SGR is of very poor quality that's why they always use Kenyan SGR pics to caption their articles
Is that of.poor quality

Marubani wengine ni Wajeda

Yes delivery flight was done by Tz pilots certified by boeing. The only flight that was done by foreigners was the A220, But now even those very unique and only type in africa are now under Tz pilots

Anytime theAnytime they write an article about their SGR ni lazima watumie picha za Kenya.

I don't really care who flew what or when... My point is, in-order to fly those planes those pilots, especially the captain must have alteast 10-15 years of being a pilot...
Even our SGR drivers have to first have a diploma+experience or a degree in rail engineering or mechanical, electrical engineering to then study to be a loco driver, some of these drivers went to study rail engineering in Beijing first before coming back to Kenya as assistance locomotive driver

Tz wana hao watu kitambo tuu wanasubiri utendaji kaz reli ikikamilika
