Hii first order naona imefanywa kimyakinya na nina mashaka nayo sana na inawezekana wakati kuna mgogoro wa tender baada ya mkandarasi mmoja kulalamika tender ikarudiwa na kuchelewesha zoezi kama zaidi ya mwaka serikali ikaingia mkataba wa kuagiza trains lakini information zake hazipo kabisa ila tumeona Sung Shin Rolling Stock ya Korea wanatengeneza passengers coaches 59 na zitavutwa na locomotives from Germany ili kuanza huduma haraka ila za korea ambazo ni EMU zitakuja baadae kidogo.Wadau kuna issue ina ni mix kidogo mweyne clarification labda Simon Geza Ulole mnisaidie last year TRC ordered Electric Locomotives worth 60 mil usd from Germany and south korea....kuna sehemu nimesoma tumeorder 6 Electric Locomotives which are Euro Stadler....je hizo locomotives nyingne zitakuaa ngap na fro. the 1st order ?? ya 60 mil usd

Mkataba wa kwanza ukikuwa unasema wameagiza kutoka Germany na Skorea 22 Locomotives na Mabehewa 1430...labda ni mixed orders ila na jua Wa Germany kuna tetesi wanasema ni Euro stadler ziko 6 ..amabzo ni dual yani Electric na Disel..sasa hizo 16 zilizobaki sina uhakika kama zote ni za South korea au la..

Kenya freight trains 80km/hr is the average speed! Jipange vizuri alafu ndo urudi tenaIf kenyan cargo train travels at top speed of 80kph this will average a speed of 50kph per trip same as out MGR before revamp. Tz cargo trains with top speed of 120kph will average a speed of 100kph per trip this means tz cargo train will spend 7 hours on 700km stretch while kenyan cargo train will spend 14 hours on a same stretch. This is to say tz cargo trains travel at twice the speed of kenyan cargo trains hence more cargo hauled per annum.
