Mkataba ulitiwa saini 2013, reli ilianza kujengwa mwaka mmoja baadae mwisho wa 2014...

Alafu hapo unaposema mnamiliki reli...kwa faida ya nani? au ni kwa faida ya kujigamba tu? manake kama ni kutoa huduma, reli zote zitatoa huduma na kurahisisha uchukuzi.... Tofauti ni kwamba wakati nyinyi nalipia cash ujenzi wa phase 1 , na wakati huo huo bajeti ya elimu ni chini ya $1B ilhali mnawanafunzi wengi kutuliko... kwa upande mwengine Kenya imekopa kujenga reli lakini elimu ina bajeti ya $2.4B....

matokeo ni kwamba miaka 20 baadae, Kenya itakua ililipa deni kwa wachina na pia wananchi wamebobea taaluma mbali mbali kutoka madaktari, walimu, architects..etc ilhali Tz watakua walimiliki reli tangu jadi lakini collective IQ ya umati itakua bado iko chini.... tanzania ya viwanda itaakua bado ni msemo tu manake wafanyikazi bado bongolala unachukua miezi sita kuwafundisha kitu cha wiki moja!

cost of Kenyan rail is high because unlike Tanzania and Ethiopia where land is under government, land is owned by individuals and must be compensated. A good example is lamu port where the feasibility study was done back in 2011 but took 4 years for compensation to be completely done.
2 years later, bado hawawezi elewa. Ni wivu na povu tuu
 
I really wonder why you cannot concentrate on your own thing. Kenya does not do things because of Tanzania. So what if you have secured a much bigger funding than Kenya? It is not free. You will have to repay back.

..kama Tanzania inajenga sgr kwa kutumia fedha za mikopo yenye masharti magumu ya kibiashara basi mradi wetu unaweza kuwa wa aghali kuliko wa Kenya.

..tusilinganishe hii miradi kwa kuangalia cost per km tu. Tuangalie pia aina ya MIKOPO inayotumika ku-finance miradi hii.
