The problem with you is that you only depend on what you here and not what you see and read. When Khalid is saying "we are the best", who/what is the subject and who/what is the object in his phrase? What I did earlier was comparison between Kenyan railway to others' in this region that's why I assumed the 'the' (which is optional). Now tell me, who/what is Khalid comparing himself to ? • Nairobi is most developed city in the region.
• Kilimanjaro is tallest mountain in Africa.
• Lake Victoria is largest fresh water lake in Africa.
