Hiyo ni kweli kabisa kama hakuna shida kwenye time table ya train ata hiyo nusu saa ni nyingi. Kama utaratibu wa ticket nao ukiwa mzuri kama wa card za mwezi au mwaka basi unaitaji dakika 5 tu mambo mswano.

Exactly. Japo wasiwasi wangu utashi mdogo kwenye halimashauri zetu. Mipango mingi huwa initiated na serikali kuu, halmashauri zimelala kabisa.
Ni sawa tuanze kwanza kufanya biashara then tutaona,pia nimeipenda idea nyingine,kuna study ilikuwa inaendelea ya kutathimini matumizi bora ya ardhi maeneo yote inapopita reli ili kuspeed up maendeleo ya wananchi na kuendelea kutengeneza masoko mapya ya SGR kimkakati.

Sijazusha mkuu. Kuna siku Kadogosa alidokeza hii kitu alipokuwa akizungumzia future plans ambazo zimelenga population prospects za 2035. Alikuwa akizungumzia pheasibility study ya commuter trains km 266 iliyofanywa kwa ushirikiano na kampuni moja ya SA.

Sina utaalamu sana ila nafahamu hivyo. Kwa maelezo yake route ya commuter trains itaanzia Pugu (zinapoishia passenger train za upcountry) ila main commuter station itakuwa hii DSM station ya SGR.
Japokuwa kutajengwa kituo kingine Pugu kuunganisha na commutter trains wacha kuzusha hamna kitu kama hicho ati cha treni za mkoani za abiria kuishia Pugu! Soma ripoti kila kitu kinaelezwa! Huwezi kujenga madaraja yale yote kuanzia Buguruni alafu treni isifike central itakuwa akili ya kijinga!

Project delays ziko hata nchi zilizoendelea. Kikubwa hakuna sababu za kipuuzi zilizopelekea delay. Kwa hali (ya mvua) ilivyokua kwenye maeneo ya madaraja na culverts nyingi ambayo ni very swampy hasa Ruvu, ilikuwa nafuu kuchelewa kuliko kurush na kujenga madaraja ya biskuti.

Its almost as if you guys are in another dimension where you can't see things straight ..

Your thinking is backwards, right now everyone says, Kenya's SGR is expensive (while being Diesel powered) while TZ SGR is cheaper(while being electric)..... How they get to this conclusion is by dividing the Cost of the project by the Distance covered.

What I'm trying to explain to you people who won't get it is that in Kenya's case, the cost of the project also covers the expenses for the 56 trains, 1,600 wagons, 50 coaches... among other additional things.... While in Tanzania's case, the cost of the TL is not covered in the $1.9B contract with Yepi, The Trains and Wagons are also not part of the project etc ... Therefore if you want to find the real cost of TZ SGR, you might want to first find out how much the trains, TL, wagons, Coaches will cost....

And BTW,Bridges and back-filling of embankment which Kenya has in plenty cost way more than electrification and wielding combined! So that's not really a reason for argument....

Ukiangalia hio screenshot ya kwanza, ujenzi wa reli na stesheni garama yake ni only $2.66B kutoka Mombasahadi Nairobi.. Kwahivyo kama ingekua tunajenga reli kama Tanzania, hio $2.66B ndo ingekua kwa kandarasi tuliao sign na mchina, Alafu tunge tuma wanafunzi kusomea reli huko nje kwa garama zetu, tungenunua vichwa vya treni na mabehewa yake kwa garama ya kivyake, ICD ingejengwa kwa garama yake kando..etc



Sasa ninachosema kuhusu reli ya TZ ni kwamba hio $1.9B ya Dar-Moro bado hamjaongeza hesabu za TL,Vichwa, mabehewa,..... Kwahivyo hata mimi siwezi nikakwambia kama reli ya TZ ni expensive au ni cheap, mpaka unipatie hizo garama za kando!!!!! Kwa ufupi ninachosema ni kwamba garama ya ujenzi wa tz SGR bado haijulikani kiuhalisia manake bado kuna vitu muhimu hamjasema bei yake na havijahesabiwa juu ya ile iliotajwa kwa kandarasi.
Kwa upande mwengine, garama ya SGR Kenya tunayoijua inahesabu kila kitu!

Natarajia kuna angalau mmoja wenu atakua amenielewa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Kama bado hamjanielewa basi naosha mkono!

I don't know what you wanted me to see there but , that document you have given is a summary of the ESIA full report which I have been using...

To cut this argument short, Uganda's electric SGR includes the cost of the TL plus locomotives. Now, when you are comparing the costs of building the UG vs Tz rail, do you think it would be fair to exclude adding the costs of associated facilities for the TZ line???

Hapo uko na point, ingawaje unajua sio kila mtu atafika dakika 5 kabla treni inondoke, mimi nimeshuhudia watu wengi sana wakiachwa na treni na walifika dakika kumi kabla treni iondoke, Si unajua vile tuna dili na alshabaab huku? Utapitia security check points kama nne hivi kabla uingie ndani ya stesheni, ya kwanza unaangaliwa kitambulisho au pasport kama wewe uko kenya kihalisi, ya pili unapanga mizigo kwa sakafu alafu umbwa ana nusa nusa, alafu baada ya hapo unaenda kwa ofisi ya tiketi, unatumia 'code' ulio tumiwa kwa simu wakati uli book safari kwa mpesa ussd au mtandaoni, hio code ndo unatumia ku chapisha ticketi yako kutoka kwa automated ticketing machine, alafu ndo sasa unaeenda kwa security checkpoint nyengine ambapo mizigo itafanywa x-ray scan alafu we mwenyewe utafanyiwa search juu hadi chini... pia utaambiwa utoe kitambulisho pamoja na ticketi walinganishe kama jina kwa kitambulisho na kwa tiketi linafana kwasababu hauruhusiwi kutumia ticheti ya mtu mwengine....baada ya hapo ndo unaingia mahali pa kukaa........kabla kuingia kwa treni yenyewe bado tena utaitishwa uonyeshe tena ticketi yako.... Kumbuka kama mko wengi, hio line ya security pekee itakuchukua kama 20-30 minutes! Alafu unaelewa vile waafrica tunapenda kuchelewa kwahivyo nyote mtapatana hapo kwa gate dakika ya mwisho .... Kwahivyo ili usichelewe, panga kufika kwa stesheni angalau lisaa limoja kabla.



Anyway, stesheni yoyote ya abiria iwe in airport,train station, bus station, capacity yake hua inapigiwa hesabu kulingana na maximum throughput.... Yani hauangalii best case scenario, unaangalia worst case... Ni abiria wangapi wanaeza pitia hapo na wafanyiwe kila kitu kwa dakika au lisaa limoja au kwa siku nzima.... Kutoka hapo sasa ndo anaeza ukapiga hesabu za abiria wa ngapi kwa mwaka... Kwa mfano kwa stesheni ndogo za Kenya ile ndogo kabisa zinaweza kuhudumia abiria 300 kwa siku. na zile kubwa kubwa kidogo kama Voi na mariakani maximum kwa siku ni abiria 600.... Hio ndo nambari ya wateja wanaotarajiwa mwaka wa 2035...

hio maximum capacity hawakuiokota tu, walichukua data ya kutoka kwa reli ilojengwa na mkoloni na uhusiano wake na ukuaji wa miji kama Voi, Nakuru Eldoret iliopanuka kwasababu ya reli, alafu waliangalia intergrated economic plans za kila county ambapo SGR itapita, tena wakapiga hesabu za economic potential za hizo county.. Kwa mfano ukosoma hizo feasibility studies na ESIA reports utapatahesabu za mambo mengi sana...

Boss, hakuna anaye pekua pekua reli ya kenya..Udhaifu wake upo wazi na wataalam wote nje na ndani ya nchi wanashaanga ujinga uliopo hapo.
Yaani SGR kenya imekuwa global example of how not to finance,build and operate a railway.
Sasa kama mlitarajia Magu ashindane na kenya kubwabwaja ute au kuvalisha nguruwe khamisi msahau sana
Kuchambuliwa kwa SGR ya Kenya na kina David Ndii na wenziwe ni kwasababu media ya Kenya ina Ujasiri na kuna uhuru wa wanahabari..... Hebu nionyeshe uchambuzi wowote ambao ushawahi fanywa na mwanahabari yeyote wa Tanzania, Nionyeshe Uchambuzi wowote wa reli ya Ethiopia ?????

Hapa eastern Africa, ni reli ya Kenya pekee tu ndo inajulikana inje ndani kwa technical details, economic analysis, etc... Hizo reli zengine kama ya TZ hakuna lolote linalo julikana nje ya Initial cost... Na hakuna mwanahabari yeyote jasiri ashawahi kutubutu kuuliza maswali kwa serekali... Yote tunayoyajua kuhusu SGR ya TZ ni kutokwa kwa mdomo wa CCM!!!!
 
Investors setting shops at the Naivasha Special Economic Zone will be charged 5cents per KW of power; this according to the KAM Chairman Sachen Gudka. The park will host a public utility area to help process cargo transported from Mombasa Port through SGR.
