There are no cases of a passanger train arriving when another is departing. You only need 30 ticketing & security gates to process those 2k people in under 1 hr.
If i can remember, NBO station has less than 10 ticketing & security processing stations.
The Queues you are seeing there are a testament of low Quality of service not building space

First of all, Where are you going to find the space for 30 ticketing & security gates??? This one I wan't to see, especially knowing that the SGR floors for processing passengers start at first floor going upwards.
And where are you going to fit those 2300 people that you have just processed in under and hour in that confined 10,000 sq.m space?????
Lets use a passenger Terminal that has 30 check-in counters.... JKIA Terminal 1A
And do you want to guess how big JKIA T1A is????Its 37,000 sq.m, If you combine Nairobi SGR station + Dar SGR station 21,400 + 13,000 = 34,000 sq.meters which is still less than T1A in size.
And In case you were wondering JNIA new Terminal III has 37 Counters (which is not far from the 30 you mentioned) + another extra 7 for Immigration ...... Do you wanna guess how big JNIA T3 is??? 60,000m.sq!!!!!

So please educate me on How 13,000 sq.m of Dar SGR station will have 30 ticketing counters and 30 security gates and also have space for atleast 1150 passengers (half of the 2,300) to seat when even JKIA T1A at 37,000 sq.m in space only has 550 seating positions (which is half of the number of passengers it can process in 1 hour)

Is Kunyaland having a train station to brag about? Those station u go upstairs then u come downstairs to board mtungi wa chang'aa! 🤣 🤣 🤣 👆
