Cost comparison SGR Kenya vs SGR Tanzania

Ambia hawa atoa mapovu Mr English! I bet ur meaning of efficient omits procument- and operating costs! Efficient SGR Kunyaland means being overcharged on procurement cost and high operating costs while running! Those 79 comments from fellow Kunyans hawajui Kizungu, what a fool Mr English!!

I'm sorry to inform you that your SGR is designed to carry 1,100,000 passengers per year compared to Kenya's which is doing 3,000,000 passengers per year.

where is the evidence?
Your SGR will always be inferior to that of Kenya.

I got this from Yerpi and from it, it also seems that the speed of your electric freight trains will be equal to that Kenya's disel😂😂😂

25 tons per axle and 35 tons per axle which one carries more load and passengers? Simple arithmetic tell me then I will know the level and type of a person that I an discussing with.

Tofautisha kati ya design ya reli na expected load or number of passengers per annum. The numbers can be optimised to a higher side by increasing the number of rolling stocks in the line.

You can't increase the number of rolling stocks when you have a single track being used by both the passengers trains and freight trains, increasing the number will mean tampering with the frequency set for the trains to overtake each other and pass each other. What you have to understand is that the designers found that 1,100,000 is the maximum number your railway can accommodate in a year and they figured out the frequency to come up with the maximum number, they have looked at every option to increase the number lakini hawakupata. So wakisema Ni 1,100,000 just know that it's 1,100,000

You talk like a layman, the passengers number is determined by the the length of trains multiplied by the number of trips they make, most of electric trains do around 300 passengers per one way while Diesel trains can do up to 1,440 per one way like the one in Kenya. So tell me, which train will do more passengers at the end of the year? Like for the case of Kenya, the trains do 8,000 passengers per day.

How long is your passenger train?

Of course not more than 6 cars (i.e. 6cars * 40m/car = 240 m)! Look at their photos! And mind u a heav the locomotive car carries a diesel engine and fuel tanks! A reason a coined the train a name "mtambo wa chang'aa/gongo"!!

Ndio maana nikamuuliza hilo swali specifically maana train coach standard does not exceed more than 80 passengers but kama inabeba 120 passengers same na Boeing 737 bus ni maajabu ya Dunia au seat zitakuwa 4 by 4

Kweli wewe Ni mjinga, how do you start comparing a train with a plane with different seating arrangements? Our trains were designed for our needs to maximize on capacity. If I say our trains are doing 120 per economy coach please just believe it.
