International contractors are forging ahead with construction of Tanzania’s first 1 435 mm gauge railway, with a view to opening East Africa’s third standard gauge network before the end of this year. Toma Bačić investigates.
 
probably, watu wa serikali wanaipitia hii page... hiv hakuna namna ikajengwa barabara two lanes along SGR line from Pugu to Moro/Dom mithili ya morogoro rd.. sio lazima iwe close na sgr line.. at least hata kwa mita 50-100 (i know kuna ishu ya kununua maeneo)

  • kusafirisha abiria kuelekea vituoni. hapa kutakuwa na michepuko ya kuelekea barabara nyingine kuu mf kama kuelekea morogoro rd
  • surveillance services kwa ajili ya ulinzi na usalama wa hio sgr line by TRC security unit
  • pia somedays inaweza kutumika kwa ajili ya mazoez or mashindano/marathons ya wakimbia kwa miguu au waendesha bicycle (bicyclists).. hii wazo imetokana na kujiuliza serikali imeshindwa hata kupeleka olympics timu kubwa ya wakimbia kwa mguu au bicyclists [emoji2186] !?!

Hapana that's not a good idea TRC land should not be used to build highway for public use! That corridor in the next 30 years itahitajika sana! Kwanza hii SGR itahitaji a second line when operation picks up! Kama ushawahi tembelea reli za wenzetu majuu utafahamu nini namaanisha! TANROADS wajipange kutafuta an alternative na si kutumia corridor ya Tanzania Railways that's short-sightedness! Take example of DB shirika la Reli Ujerumani halafu angalia revenues zinazotokana na non rail transportation but commercial activities zilizo chini yake lakini ndani ya railway corridor yake nchi nzima ndo utajua ninachomaanisha! Hiyo 60 m span corridor kwangu mimi ni ndogo!! Inapaswa hata iwe 100 m wide! Shirika la DB lina mpaka trucks logistic business na depots zake nchi nzima ukiacha real estate business ambapo inapangisha kwa tenants na Kadogosa ameongelea hili!

Kwanza ajali zilizopo za watu wa magari binafsi halafu uruhusu ile njia wakati kuna sections ina-cross SGR! wacha utani!
 
Tanroad na TRC wanaweza kukaa na kuangalia hii corridor.. kama eneo la TRC ni 100 m both sides but tanroad/tarura wachukue kuanzia hata 300m in one side especially the left one kama unatoka Dar kwenda huko juu moro/dom
Mshikaji wacha hii maneno!! Nimekuambia angalia business model ya mashirika ya reli yanavyotumia land bank yao! Na Kadogosa anaeleza kila siku hiyo corridor wameipangia nini!

Tanroads watafute njia zao! kwanza ajali ya juzi ya MGR Morogoro imenikera kinomaaa huwezi amini jinsi waendesha malori walivyo wapuuzi wanavyoharibu vichwa vipya vya treni kwa kukatiza bila umakini! Halafu wewe unataka magari yatumie hiyo corridor! excuse me!
 
Tanroad na TRC wanaweza kukaa na kuangalia hii corridor.. kama eneo la TRC ni 100 m both sides ilipo hii sgr bas tanroad/tarura wachukue kuanzia hata 300 au 500m in one side especially the left one kama unatoka Dar kwenda huko juu moro/dom
waha ubishi reli iachwe tena magari yapite mbali kinoma! Huo ndo ushauri wangu! that corridor should remain to be used by only TRC be on maintenance of their railways or their other commercials activities!
