well though i made a mistake still 60,000,000L/10 rounds per month/ 17 months u get 352,941 liters per round, way smaller compared to an MGR fuel train to Uganda from Tanzania with 855,000 liters!

Hakuna kitu imepenya hapo, tangu hiyo train itoke Tanga ama Dar hadi Mwanza MV Uhuru itakuwa imefanya two round trips already. Remember MV Uhuru is carrying 1.1 million litres per trip compared to your train which is doing 800k.

First, 1 tonne = 1,000kg
1 Kg = 1L

So 1 tonne = 1,000L
60,000t will be
(1,000L × 60,000t) ÷ 1t =60,000,000L.


I think you can now see where the 60 million litres are coming from.
If 60m litres data comes from the presidential delivery bureau i will be highly sceptical about it same confusion as the total length of paved roads in kenya.

Here is the scenario, by the time Kunyaland is having election in August 2022 this lot will be at least 50% done and lot 4 and 3 have started! And if the election in Kunyaland is to drag (most probably as already Ruto's wheelbarrow followers look charged) as usually to at least 2023 the lazybone up North will wake up seeing lots 3 and 4 r at least 40% done and the rest will be history
 
With oil and refinery coming onstream Uganda will not need oil imports rather will export oil to its neighbours EACOP has a reverse flow mechanism oil can flow either way.
That will never happen in alteast 30 years to come.
They prioritized a crude oil pipeline, a crude oil pipeline cannot be used to transport refined oil..... That crude oil pipeline is not cheap, investors need to make enough profits before they can think of any other project... Right now it's cheaper for the likes of Total to consolidate the oil and transport it to already existing refinaries in some other part of the world. So since the crude pipeline exists, it is virtually unjustifiable for investors to invest $5Billion in a bran new refinary plus a refined product pipeline.
And BTW, if Uganda ever builds a refinary and needs to export refined products, they will need a refined petrolium pipeline... Kenya already has one that works and it goes up to Kisumu.
