COVID19: Vipimo vya Kenya na Uganda vyatofautiana

Rapid test is not taking three days to give result, and is never used at border points you fool.

These were the cases from PCR tests(Very reliable and accurate) that made Uganda take rapid testing kits (Unrelible) to their borders in Busia, Malaba, Mtukula and later remove them. 5 Kenyan drivers tested positive while 7 Tanzanians tested positive.

All your arguments so far prove you are the one who knows nothing.
Now read:
"Minister of Internal Affairs Gen. Odongo Jeje expressed concern over truck drivers entering Uganda.

“There is growing concern about the long-distance truck drivers entering the country. The concern is because quite a number of these truck drivers have tested positive,” he said during a Press briefing on Thursday.

He said the national taskforce is considering deployment of rapid testing kits at the entry point so that a driver knows his status before he leaves the border.

Gen. Jeje however lamented that though the testing is quick and it only takes 10 minutes to get results, the test kits are very expensive." ~ Citizen TV, April 24, 2020.
Therefore they do consider but not yet used at the border point yet, and that test takes only 10 minutes not three days like what happened for this driver, therefore your argument that Uganda used rapid test is not true, stop downgrading other countries in order to show that you are always wright

even spain, germany and britain had problems protecting their doctors Kenya is not unique but we have managed better than Tanzania to protect our front line workers who are doing a fantastic job.

Wakenya wasalimu amri, ha ha ha.

Kenya is already starting to flatten the infections curve, yet Tanzania has no idea what their current status on the curve is. That is why you have to be violent against rwandan truck drivers at your border. While Kenya and uganda peacefully agreed on mode of operation for truck drivers

Kenya medical research institute(KEMRI) has overturned the COVID-19 test results of Kenyan long-distance truck driver, who had been tested in Uganda and the result was positive. According to Taita-Taveta health officials, the truck driver victim had been tested on the Malaba border along the Kenya-Uganda border on May 3 while on his way to Tororo. On 7th May, the Ugandan authorities called the driver and informed him that he had tested positive for COVID-19.

As reported by the Standard, the health officials in the region reported that at the time he received the disturbing outcome of the test, near Maungu Township on his way to Mombasa. The suspect was caught and isolated at the Voi County Referral Hospital, by the County COVID -19 Response team at Maungu Township. The response team undertook further confirmatory test meanwhile, contact tracing started taking the course as per the standard procedure.

The Standard reports that further confirmatory tests on the COVID-19 suspected victim at the Kemri Laboratories in Kilifi County showed negative results. But the health officials said further tests will be run on the patient, in close collaboration with Kemri experts before the truck driver is released. On Thursday, Health Executive John Mwakima Mwangeka confirmed that the truck driver has since tested negative at the Kemri laboratories in Kilifi County after another test was done.

The county executive committee (CEC) member said the joint chairpersons of the Covid-19 Emergency Response Team have since been informed of the outcome of the test and briefed on the protocols to be followed, this is due to the fact that test report from Uganda had shown positive result to COVID-19 test on the truck driver. Mwangeka had declared that “In order to protect the local community, the truck drivers will not be allowed into the county until their Covid-19 test results are known,” The battle of COVID -19 is still on.

What you are doing is just to expose your stupidity, I never say the person contracted disease on 3rd, rather I said was tested on 3rd. Remember this driver left Kenya a week or two before went to Uganda, that means he was probably tested in Kenya before crossing.

It is only a fool person like you who may think that a person who tested positive can recover and test positive after three days, that's why in Kenya they used the word " Overturn" not recovery.

You don`t understand yourself, you said that "...you can`t recover from corona after four days..." and that line alone shows that huyo driver contacted the virus on 3rd.

Please re-read the bolded part of what what you wrote. Let me breakdown that sentence for you,
1. The driver crossed the border one or two weeks after testing negative in Kenya.( That is about 7 or 14 days)
2. He was tested by the Ugandan authority and results came out positive after four days.(4)
3. He was retested in Kenya again and the results came out negative.

Now let`s do the some maths.

Day 1: The driver tested negative in Mombasa before leaving the port.
Day 1 $ 2: Waiting for result.
Day 2 $ 3: Driving towards the border ( Maybe positive or Still negative)
Day 3,4,5 % 6: Waiting to be tested at the border( Highest probability of being positive)
Day 7: Retested at the Malaba border by the Ugandan Authorities.
Day 7 - 10: Waiting for the results.
Day 10-12: Journey back to Mombasa.
Day 14: Went back to hospital to reconfirm status.
Day 14: Negative.

If you look at breakdown of these days very well, you will find that the number of interval days that he was tested in Kenya is around 14 days. Those days are enough for one to recover from the virus especially the asymptomatic ones if in any case they contracted the disease between second and third day.

You Kenyans must be suffering from Schizophrenia, all Countries are wrong, or are not doing the right things except Kenya, why are you stupid to that extent?, stop this stupidity please, how Can you say Uganda is using rapid test while sample was taken on 3rd May, but result came out on 7th May?, is rapid test takes four days to give results?. There is no Country which uses rapid test yet in EA, that's why there is long delay of about two days at the borders.

Are you aware that KEMRI is the best Medical research institute in Africa?

Flatten curve?, are you stupid?, infection rate of above 20 per day, the curve is keeping rising you fool. Only Uganda and Rwanda have managed to flatten the Curve, Kenya is a failed state can't flatten the curve in the near future.

I know you are SI unit of stupidity but please try to answer this to yourself. Who told you that driver contracted the virus on 3rd May? The article is clearly saying that he was tested on 3rd meaning he had been having that virus before that date.

Do you know the meaning of flattening the curve? This week, Kenya`s average of Infection is 20. Last week we were at an average of 30. What of Tanzania? Do you even have a curve?

Unaangaika kweli, from the link Uganda did their test on 3rd May and result came out on 9th. I haven`t seen anywhere written that Kenya also did their test on 3rd and if I can remember very well what is in the link, Kenya tested the driver after 9th May which means that the truck driver may have recovered.
