Episode 1-10 Summary
The young and beautiful Paloma, like every year, goes to the ranch of Don Lorenzo Sanchez Sabrano in order to work in the plantations of coffe. Don Lorenzo dies suddently leaving all workers crying for this sad fact, and making his heirs very wealthy. During his funeral, Paloma meets for first time Lorenzo's grandson, the handsome Diego. The too youngsters feel for first time in love. Don Lorenzo leaves his property to his two sons, Joakin, Diego's father and to Juan Fransisco.
To the first one he leaves his ranch "Casa Blanca" and to the second one his company, "El Cafetalero". Diego feels very much in love with Paloma and he asks her to go on a date the night after. Paloma's mother doesnt agree with this relationship between Paloma and Diego. Despite all these she lets Paloma to go for a walk with Diego, because they both will not be able to meet again for much time, because Diego must go back to England where he studies, and Paloma must go to work to other farms after the collection of coffee finishes. During this walk Paloma and Diego will understand that they were born one for the other and before Diego leaves for England, they make love.
Diego and Paloma are promising to meet again one year after, and to marry the same day. Is is hard to say 'goodbye' but the promises they gave keep them stong. Paloma and her mother are leaving from "Casa Blanca" when the collection of coffee finishes. The young woman feels ill and her mother wants her to go to the doctor. The doctor announces Paloma that she is pregnant.
When she forgets the first shock she decides to go to meet Diego in Lïndon, but she doesnt have money so she agrees to work as a model in Paris, after a propose she was made. Paloma's mother, in fear, finds out that her dauguter was a victim of a deceit, and the man who sent her in Europe so as to work as a model is a common white slaver. From her sadness she gets ill and after few time she desappears. 6 months later, Diego's parents are dying after a car accident.
In their funeral Barbara, Fabian's woman, presents Berenice, her best friend to Diego. Fabian doesn't stop saying that Berenice is the ideal woman for Diego. When Diego learns that Paloma is in Europe and she is prostitute, without knowing under what conditions she became, disappointed, he desides to marry veronica. Paloma after many adventures goes back to Mexico and she makes everything in order to be on time in her date with Diego. During the time that Paloma was travelling so as to go in the farm, Diego married Berenice.
Paloma gets in the ranch when the party after the marriage is over. The shock for her is very big and crying she decides to leave for ever... Paloma's mother is desappeared. Diego wants to help Paloma to find Soledad. Paloma doesn't accept Diego's suggestion, and some days later Soledad is found in a village near. Paloma tells her mother everything happened in Europe but she asks her not to tell anything to Diego, but she doesnt keep her promise. Diego is surprised when he learns about the baby and he runs to ask Paloma forgiveness.
She doesn't forgive him but she sais him what happened in Europe, and at the end they kiss each other. Paloma and Soledad are leaving Casa Blanca next day. Berenice has started to understand that something goes wrong with her husband and with the help of a woman leaving in the village, she learns for Paloma. Diego tries to talk with Paloma but Berenice doesnt let him.

Berenice learns that Paloma was pregnant and , in fear of wanting to take something for Diego's fortune, she asks for help so as Diego and Paloma never be met again. While Diego learns for Paloma in the near of Casa Blanca areas, she goes to ask for work in a well-name hotel. Barbara can't be pregnant so she starts making a therapy.
She gets disapointed when she realises that Fabian has a relationship with one of his secretaries. Berenice tells Diego that she knows everything about Paloma and his child, and Diego, angry, tells her that his child died before be borned!
