just wish this thing was being built near the CBD hapo karibu na Uhuru park...that place is sooo empty...parking lots zimejaa hapo side ya parliament...what a waste of valuable space...there is a rugby ama sijui ni golf field hapo kando ya Uhuru park side ya Upper hill road...what a waste of space that is...
 
is this part of uhuru park? what a waste of space...just imagine if Pinnacle, Cytton or Avic developments were erected at this site instead of huko Kilimani or Westie...

Sungura kakosa mzabibu kasema ni mbichi. Europe is just 1 portion of the developed world. Need I post American, middle east and the far east cities skylines?

Kisha, Europe ilijengwa karne kadhaa zilizopita. Back then the tallest thing one could build was 10storeys max which is why their small cities are largely short.

But their largest and most important cities that have caught up with times look like this

Na nani kakuambia hatubalance? Motorways have and are being built, high speed rail is being built, ports are being built/being expanded, slum upgradement projects are ongoing, environmental conservation has been boosted by the plastic ban, industrial parks have/are being built. What other balancing do you want, there's only so much a country can do with negligible if any mineral exports

Na nikuulize population ya denmark ni ngapi?? Amsterdam city 120,000 peoplw unataka kulinganisha na Dar ya 5.6mn mea na hao wazungu wako!!

Pili ni waasia ndio wanapenda majengo marefu maref
Tokyo ni city ya 32mn people
Seoul ni 26mn people
Mumbai ni 22mn

Unataka watu wakae kwa ground mpaka lini!! Kila kitu kujilinganisha na wazungu haifai ....hata huko Usa Escalator ni muafrika ndio aliunda ....soma histotia ya escalator!!

What we need is more is viwanda kama za magari ,computers assembly ,semiconductors ,EPZ za makavazi ...vitu ambavyo vitaongeza exports na GDP ili tushindane na Jo'burg vilivyo na kutengeneza uajiri zaidi.Right now every 4 containers that come into Kenya ,3 of them go back empty.

Uhuru park should remain even for generations but what abt that Railways club place? a big wastage...the guys dont even do maintenance such that when it does not rain, that place looks like Garissa
