The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) has unveiled a grand plan for its 10 At 10 celebration set for Saturday in Mombasa. ODM Director of Elections and Campaigns Junet Mohammed revealed that the party would be flying in International award-winning artiste Diamond Platnumz to grace the mega
event.
The Tanzanian musician will perform during a celebratory procession that will be held on Saturday night at Mama Ngina Drive to mark the Orange party's 10 years of existence.“International award-winning music artist Diamond will jet in from the US to entertain guests in what is billed to be an evening to remember not just for Mombasa but Kenyans at large.
The night will conclude with a dramatic fireworks display that promises to leave Kenyans breathless,” read the statement. According to the party, preparations for the ceremony are in top gear and will begin on Thursday where 47 ODM branded buses will be flagged off to transport delegates from all Counties to the jamboree.
823 vehicles donated by supporters will also be dispatched to comb through the country mobilising support for ODM. On Friday, a private party in honour of CORD leader Raila Odinga and his wife Idah Odinga will be hosted in which 450 MCAs, 110 MPs, 18 Senators and at least 10 Governors are
scheduled to attend.
“A team of expert bakers have been tasked to prepare a giant cake for guests to commemorate the event,” the party added. The celebrations will move over to Saturday where a convention will be held in which the party has promised to make 'a ground-shaking political announcement' and later the Procession.
