Back in the day, Jay used to be very tight with Dr Dre. Jay wanted "clearance to the West" (security), specially after having been dissed by the GOATPac Shakur who rep'd the West. After Pac, no other rap artist from the West was as big as Dre. Jay wrote "Still Dre" to cement their tightness (it was not business oriented. Well it still was in a way).

So Jay happened to have a show(s) in the West, and him thinking being cool with Dre was enough, he didn't check with anybody else that he was coming to the coast. Got to West, and came across Suge. Short story long, Suge held Jay and showed him he was the one running Cali, not Dre.

Apparently, Jay-Z had to cut check for Suge to be set free, unharmed. And accepted to pay homage to Tupac, hence the "Bonnie and Clyde" song. If you think about it, it could be true. Cuz Jay & Dre's tightness loosened up. And why would Jay-Z, a New York rapper and Biggie's friend pay homage to New York's number 1 enemy?? And Suge really had that juice.

Actually, I think a plea deal could work out more on the prosecution's favour. Because first, the main witness (Bone) has refused to cooperate.

Second, they can't prove that Suge had any motive. I don't think he had any weapon with him.

Third, Bone had what seems like a gun while he was attacking Suge, so Suge's defence could argue that he was fleeing the scene to save his life, and that's when Terry got caught in it. Plus a few guys(as seen in the video I uploaded) that knew both men could testify on Suge's favour.

I could defend Suge just from watching CI channels. Imagine what an actual lawyer could do.

You say they can't prove Suge had any motive. How do you know that?

And what do you consider a weapon? A gun? A shank? Brass knuckles?

Prosecution attorneys would devour you alive if you were his lawyer especially if the only 'legal' trainining you have is through watching some criminal investigation documentaries.

Here's a pointer: avoid making declarative statements for things that you don't know.

You proving to be such a fenced minded my dude, no disrespect. Barefoot bandit could fly aircrafts, from a "training" he got from playing video games.

But anyway, since you went to law school and I didn't, walk me through the prosecution's case cuz I can't see none strong.

I already built "my case" on post #83. Crash it with evidence, not emotions, bro. The jury is watching.

I say Suge had no motive to kill Terry, thanks to the witnessing of some of the people that knew both men(check the video I tagged you). And in the video from the scene itself shows that he didn't go after them, but they came after him. I pointed him not having any weapon, to show how he intended not to harm anyone.

What do I consider a weapon? Well, let me just say it's nothing Suge had in this case. Unless you can prove otherwise.

Here's a pointer: It's just a debate.
