I've been thinking about starting my own business. But I've got no clue.

So, just to get some idea and inspiration really, can I ask if there are any people here who run their own businesses, large or small, shop owners, internet businesses?, etc...

Please feel free to share, how long did it take you to be where you are, or are you just starting up, what are you doing? Did you take out a loan, etc etc..
