Recently a huge fight broke out in their government when their lunatic president came with absurd figures claiming that over 200 people had been cured of the virus when the numbers released by their minister for health was 46.
It goes without saying the minister was summoned on why she dared contradict the president on his false proclamations and absurdities.

Ingekuwa our government is playing us tungeshajua. I think you know Kenyans very well, we always don't joke with government's malpractices and if they try to hide anything from us then we will expose them immediately we find out. We don't fear our government the way you fear yours.

Yes, research have standards, and those standards have can be audited by ISO.
But research has guidlines, principals, laws, rules, and all those things are audited by the research governing body, in this case WHO not ISO!!!
For example, a BSL lab is expected to be clean at all time, therefor a lab will need to be ISO certified in hygine/cleanliness to gurantee that they employ the same amount of hygine as any lab globally.
BSL 2-4 need tight security, a lab may acquire ISO certification in physical Security.
The may aquire ISO certfication for Information security, guaranteeing that all reseach stored digitally will be secured.

All these things they get from ISO are standards! to gurantee that the work they do can be reproduced in any other lab globally because standards are the same.
But, all these standards mean nothing if you have not been approved by WHO to conduct that kind of reseach in the first place!! get that through your thick skull! Only after WHO approve that you can conduct research, once they approve you only then will they ask you for those ISO certification to make sure your lab is up to standards.
You can have all the ISO certifictaions you want in the world, but gene manipulation experiments are still illegal, and only an organisation like WHO can make it legal (once approved by UNSC or UNGA) once they come up with guidlines that will gurantee gene manipulation cannot be used for evil purposes.
You can have all the ISO certifications in the world, but you still have to be approved by IAEA to give you permission to condut research with nuclear or radio active materials.
And BTW, your ISO 20252 is about market research standards,so maybe you should go back to wherever you got that expert knowledge of yours and ask for your money back!

Then pitia ISO 15195, kwa taarifa yako WHO hutumia ISO guidelines in their service provision! ISO is everywhere! Now as far as laid down guidelines r concerned, auditing is a way to go and whoever with ISO certifications is required to conduct the audit every after 2 years and using the procedures specified by respective ISO standards and in consistency with WHO policies!

- ISO 15195—This standard translates ISO 17025 into language specific for medical reference labs which conduct the longer, more complex and accurate tests that are of the highest metrological order and provide traceability to the best available standards.

This is exactly what I have told you hapo juu..... ISO is just a standards body. They are there to make sure what you do is up to standard.They however cannot approve you based on legality,morality, political stability, history of previous research capability, a coutry's ability to enforce laws and other factors. A country like S.Sudan or Somalia or even Sudan or current Lybia can get all the ISO certifications but still not get approved by WHO because WHO will look at those other factors other than standards and say if we approve them, next year they will have civil war or government get overthrown and those labs will fall in to the wrong hands, so NO, you are not stable enough, or you are not at that level of research yet.
This is why for a BSL to be level 4, the lab must have been atleast level 2,3, then 3+ and only then can that lab be upgraded to Level 4..ANd these are WHO guidlines, not ISO... Although WHO might require you to be ISO re-certified each time your lab gets upgraded to the next bio-safety level to make sure you are up to stardard with the reseach.
I mean do you think the reason why Iran has never been aproved by IAEA to maake nuclear weapons is because they are not ISO certified!??
Do you think the reason why only South Africa and Gabon have been approved to have BSL-4 and BSL-3+ by WHO is because they are the only countries with the required ISO certifications? NO! those guys worked there asses off and did alot of research and the results helped advance science and WHO noticed their contribution, only then were they were allowed to move to the next level and reseach on the most deadly of diseases .

State Department cables warned of safety issues at Wuhan lab studying bat coronaviruses
Two years before the novel coronavirus pandemic upended the world, U.S. Embassy officials visited a Chinese research facility in the city of Wuhan several times and sent two official warnings back to Washington about inadequate safety at the lab, which was conducting risky studies on coronaviruses from bats. The cables have fueled discussions inside the U.S. government about whether this or another Wuhan lab was the source of the virus — even though conclusive proof has yet to emerge.
In January 2018, the U.S. Embassy in Beijing took the unusual step of repeatedly sending U.S. science diplomats to the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV), which had in 2015 become China’s first laboratory to achieve the highest level of international bioresearch safety (known as BSL-4). WIV issued a news release in English about the last of these visits, which occurred on March 27, 2018. The U.S. delegation was led by Jamison Fouss, the consul general in Wuhan, and Rick Switzer, the embassy’s counselor of environment, science, technology and health. Last week, WIV erased that statement from its website, though it remains archived on the Internet.
What the U.S. officials learned during their visits concerned them so much that they dispatched two diplomatic cables categorized as Sensitive But Unclassified back to Washington. The cables warned about safety and management weaknesses at the WIV lab and proposed more attention and help. The first cable, which I obtained, also warns that the lab’s work on bat coronaviruses and their potential human transmission represented a risk of a new SARS-like pandemic.
“During interactions with scientists at the WIV laboratory, they noted the new lab has a serious shortage of appropriately trained technicians and investigators needed to safely operate this high-containment laboratory,” states the Jan. 19, 2018, cable, which was drafted by two officials from the embassy’s environment, science and health sections who met with the WIV scientists. (The State Department declined to comment on this and other details of the story.)

ISO bodies r responsible to oversee guideline and oversee procedures r followed in accordance to WHO policies! when WHO (that mainly sets policy) wants to check if a specific country has capacity, Quality Assurance Auditors (certified by specific bodies) r being sent to conduct audit! And even WHO internal auditors have to take ISO standards exams to be able to carry out the exercise. So my friend u see a company or a lab is ISO certified be aware it's not a small job to get such a certification!
As for the case of Iran, it is more of international security issue from security council VETO! IAEA as a body had no problem in issuing a green pass after audit that is overseen byISO: 16637 !
