It will not be the community again. It is going to be a sovereign state. "Federal Republic of East Africa" (FREA), Unites State of East Africa (USEA), United Republic of East Africa (UREA), United Kingdom of East Africa (UKEA) whatever we call it. But shall be the One Nation and the Capital City is Dodoma.

I hav heard all that, but I see very little commitment by the member countries to really actualize that. It may not happen, certainly not in our lifetime, or even in our immediate offsprings lifetime.
This is a grandiose idea wroute with so many challenges, suspicions and squabbles over national interests....one clear example of those interests is your insistence as a Tanzanian to have the seat of power located within the Tanzanian territory, but the others states may not be keen on that. And there are a myriad of other similar issues that may hamper the realization of a united EAn state.

Tanzania has the biggest landmass, population, resources etc......save for the economy. Had it had its economic policies right from the onset....by that I mean immediately after attaining its independence, the country today would have long attained that "superpower" status it so badly wants to grab from Kenya. Infact, it is the country with the most

The main problem of people like you, thinks that the development is just for one time and done. The development of a nation is a process of every day and every year.
The process of good development of the Nation is to unite citizens. Which have been done in Tanzania.
To reduce or remove unnecessary conflict like (Land conflict, tribalism conflict, Religions Conflict etc).
Making good laws of land management (This stage have been implemented in Tanzania).
Tanzania have been as a one country by uniting two sovereign states(Tanganyika and Zanzibar) So we have experience on that. We can show direction The New Nation of East Africa.
