Does Dar Es Slum city have any parks and recreation areas?

They do! Muache ushamba! Most botanical gardens n zoos have walls n r public places at a cool fee! Aisee nyie ni mataahira!

The reason we're telling you Dar is slum has no public park.
What you have is privately owned amusement parks, (which we also have). They charge all manner of fees either to enter or to access certain 'amusements'.

You don't have a single place in Dar (maybe in the entire bongolala) that you can compare to Uhuru gardens, central park in Nairobi or even Central Park in New York.
Expansive areas of beautiful grass and trees, with benches and flowers. Open 24/7 free of charge for everyone. They are owned and maintained by the county government.
Places you can bring your own food during your lunch break as you enjoy the cool atmosphere, stroll around. Maybe even sleep on the grass.

other parks in Nairobi that are world renowed :
Jevanjee gardens
City park
Uhuru gardens.

We could have include Nairobi arboretum but wacha ikae....but bongos follow the link ili mjue nyinyi ni kiroboto tu kwa mgongo wa Ndovu(Kenya) we want to play fair si kama nyinyi
nairobi arboretum - Recherche Google

Tanzania has a coastline of nearly 1000Km. This make the best recreation center for a common mwanainchi.
Over the weekends places like Coco beach get filled with multitudes of people.

Kizungu kiliwapiga chenga! Tell me whether amusementparks r really recreational or not? And can't a private owned place be used by public? As far as I know wet n wild amusementpark is for public as I don't need membership to access the facilities but a gate fee just like botanicalgardens n zoos n museums around the world

Mnazi mmoja park, kidongo chekundu ingependeza kama ingekuwa part ya mnazi mmoja park , ila maamuzi ya kisiasa, former kisutu bus terminal nayo ingependeza kuwa square, naona magomeni garden wameichafua na dar metropolitan nn sijui!

I have never known that a beach can also be classified as a public park? Green well maintained spaces which are accessible to everyone in the city, for free at any time, 24/7 is what we are talking about.

Wajua when confronted with hard reality bongolas feign ignorance.this thread ata na ule ujinga wao wa kawaida hawa uwezi.

Kwa hivyo mnahusisha hata maeneo ya kulipia nianze kuyaleta maana na hapo pia tutafunika

Haaaa Haaaa . . Naona Wadanganyika are leaking their wounds. These people don't have Hotels, they don't have parks, they have no Interchanges, They don't have errr slums, and yet wanachuna pesa kama matawi.
