They do! Muache ushamba! Most botanical gardens n zoos have walls n r public places at a cool fee! Aisee nyie ni mataahira!
The reason we're telling you Dar is slum has no public park.
What you have is privately owned amusement parks, (which we also have). They charge all manner of fees either to enter or to access certain 'amusements'.
You don't have a single place in Dar (maybe in the entire bongolala) that you can compare to Uhuru gardens, central park in Nairobi or even Central Park in New York.
Expansive areas of beautiful grass and trees, with benches and flowers. Open 24/7 free of charge for everyone. They are owned and maintained by the county government.
Places you can bring your own food during your lunch break as you enjoy the cool atmosphere, stroll around. Maybe even sleep on the grass.
