Does Dar Es Slum city have any parks and recreation areas?

Does Dar Es Slum city have any parks and recreation areas?

The jokes on you. There is a nature sanctuary past LaFarge Bamburi, I forget the name.
Those old reclaimed mines? You cannot enter there with no permission from bamburi..And that is not in Mombasa CBD

Haller Park IS the old reclaimed mines. PAST Lafarge, nearly 3km is a nature sanctuary. I see you are making stuff up as you go. So we were comparing recreational parks in CBDs? Thats why you said there are no parks in MOMBASA? I missed the part where you said CBD. 😎

You didn't mention Mombasa CBD, you said there isn't any parks in MOMBASA. Hahaa, so were we talking about parks in CBDs? 😎

Boss, the subject was on free entry recreational areas in cbd..Haller Park you pay to enter, Dar is a coastal city and has free to enter beaches as recreational areas. Simple

mombasa has mama ngina park dude
Kuna watu wengine bana, huwa wanabishana tu ili muda uzidi kusonga. Jamaa hajawai set mguu Mombasa, alafu vitu vingine vinahitaji karisechi kidogo tu.

..wengi wetu dont appreciate such things.

..nitawapa mfano mmoja.

Usije shangaa White House inapokea watalii wengi kuliko Serengeti.

NB.

..ingekuwa amri na mipango yangu toka Ferry, dengu beach, oysterbay, coco beach, mpaka Masaki, upande wa bahari kusingekuwa na jengo hota moja.

But wet n wild is an amusementpark! A public place uache ushamba najua hamna kitu kama hicho Nairobi. Sasa nikikuletea Zanzobar's Bakhresa Mtoni marinepark n amusementparks si utazimia?

Geza, you have to pay TZS 10,000 to access Kunduchi Wet and Wild. That's very private if you ask me.

I have never known that a beach can also be classified as a public park? Green well maintained spaces which are accessible to everyone in the city, for free at any time, 24/7 is what we are talking about.

Actually beaches make some of the best parks. I know Dar has plans to make it's Coco Beach coastline into a modern boardwalk ala Forodhani Gardens in Zanzibar which I am really looking forward to

Truth be told, Dar fares badly on the public recreational spaces front. Most residents dont even know about the few ones available.

Ndio Wa-Nairobi wanachokiongelea hapa. Ukiwa mjini Nairobi, utakimbilia Central Park/Uhuru Park na kumsubiri mshikaji hadi atakapofika.

Hata kama unafanya kazi down town, umebeba lunch box yako toka home, muda wa lunch unajisogeza park unapata lunch yako una relax, au jioni umetoka zako job huna haja ya kuwai dala dala back home, unaenda kuvuta muda park( badala ya bar kama ilvyozoeleka) jam ikipungua unarudi zako sweken! Watu wanadata kwa vingi ma concrete jungle nayo yanachangia

Mikadi beach

wameanzisha ugomvi wa mawe wakati wanaishi kwenye vioo, Nairobi is land locked haina beach wanasingizia eti sio public wakati the government of the people of Tanzania owns all beaches in Tz. Wakuje hapa na uhuru park yao moja tu Nairobi nzima.

geza and co we are not after hotels and beaches, tourism etc if you want that start a thread, we are after parks in cities iyo tu, where you can relax during lunch breaks free from the stress of the buildings. otherwise i will conclude that you just spamming as usual.

We have several privately owned amusement parks in Nairobi. From Lunar park to Splash water world.
But your changing of subject is legendary.
Fact remains that there is no public park in Dar is slum.

And the thing is, a guy with money can wake up today and decide to build a very huge amusement park in Nairobi, with all those water slides and roller coasters.
But a public park like Uhuru park and Central Park in the middle of the CBD is something Dar will never have. Ever. Not in 200 years.
The case is also true that Nairobi will never have BRT! You have tried your level best in vain.
