Tanzania haikuacha ujamaa ila Rais wa awamu ya pili, Ali Hassan Mwinyi ndio alirubuniwa na Wazungu akakubali kuacha ujamaa. Ubepari maana yake uchumi wa nchi za Afrika unashikiliwa na wachache (wengi wao sio Waafrika) wakati chini ya ujamaa uchumi unashikiliwa na wananchi chini ya serikali yao.

Chini ya ujamaa, bei za vyakula na bidhaa nyingine hazipandi ovyo maana uchumi unakuwa regulated na serikali. Sasa hivi Mhindi anapanga bei ya unga Kenya na kuacha Wakenya wote wanalia.

Chini ya ujamaa nchi ilishamiri kwa viwanda maana serikali inalinda soko la bidhaa za ndani, sasa hivi ubepari wenu uchwara umeua viwanda vyote Afrika kwa kuruhusu bidhaa za ovyo kutoka China.

Kuna faida nyingi za ujamaa kwa Afrika lakini hamna hata faida moja ya ubepari Afrika.

The Kenya govt saw it as the only possible way to achieve fast economic growth and end poverty in Kenya, a decision informed after a close observation and comparisons of the achievements of bith the free market system and communism in various countries.

It however didnt achieve its objectives entirely bcos the leaders failed to stick to the latter of tgat policy document.
And who lobby for the country to follow the system? The answer is ....the people who knew the value of land since 1895.

If was a success why then Kenya is having more people under poverty level than Tanzania according to WB n IMF?
