Tanzanian position in EAC community soon to be taken by Ethiopia and The DRC. Watu waamue Kama wako SADC ama hapa Mashariki...njia mbili zilimshinda fisiem.
Tz can now go f**k themselves, we do not need them when Ethiopia is coming on board. Hatutaki Hawa watu wa umama na IQ za baboon kwa muungano huu wetu.

The Democratic Republic of Congo has formally applied for admission to the six-member East African Community (EAC).
The vast natural resource-rich central African country is seeking to join the regional bloc after various behind-the-scenes rapprochements.
Congolese President Felix Tshisekedi this week wrote to his Rwandan counterpart Paul Kagame, who is the current chairman of the EAC, seeking to join the Community whose member countries are Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi and South Sudan.
“This request follows the ever-increasing trade between the economic players of the Democratic Republic of the Congo and those of the states of the Community,” he wrote on June 8.
The desire of his government, President Tshisekedi observed, is to join the Community of regional leaders “so that we can work together for the development of our respective countries and stabilise this part of Africa.”

DRC made the logical conclusion. West DRC and East DRC are separated by the dense Congo rainforest. They have the worst road infrastructure in the world. A trip from Kinshasa to Lubumbashi can take 2 months by road as it resembles cattle paths in large sections. Trucks carry cooking utensils, gas and food in plenty to use for those weeks on the road when they get stuck. In the north the only connection is River Congo that takes a month to reach Kisangani. Those ferries on the river are basically moving coffins. So their government has decided that EAC will take care of East Congo while Kinshasa looks after the west. Uganda and DRC have agreed to jointly look for funding to build the 900Kms road from Gulu to Kisangani. That great for us since that is basically extending the northern corridor from Mombasa to Kisangani. Secondly Goma, Bukavu trade and control mostly depends on Rwanda and that also passes through Ug to Kenya. Now that M7 and Kagame have ended their spat at borders openings then its all system go. Lastly President Tshesekedi has been sending officials to tour our SGR. China is interested in rehabilitating their rundown Kinshasa port which is just an embarrassment for a mineral rich country like DRC. They have also shown him that railway is the solution for his country transport network from the port in the capital moving southwards to Lubumbashi and Kigali. He is coming here on a State visit in August to launch SGR phase 2A to Naivasha- Narok. The tie-ups are visible and moving forward.

Tanzania is near with DRC than Kenya . Therefore Tanzania has an advantage of getting acces to Kongo easily. Tanzania SGR is will be the best in East Africa hopefully Rwanda and Burundi want to make the Sana SGR. High speed, efficiently, electrified and cheap means of transportation. The Kenya SGR is expensive , diesel operated and not fast.

Is Kenya SGR to Malaba still alive?, hahahahaha, failed state. Felix Tshisekedi has decided to join "Coalition of the winners". He is looking for electrical railway from Kigali to Goma.
