5 Tanzanians among Africa's top future economic leaders

Dar es Salaam. Five Tanzanians are among top 100 Africans recognized by Paris-based Institut Choiseul as young economic leaders for tomorrow.
The top 100 personnel were selected with regard to their dynamism, exceptional course and an active contribution to the emergence of Africa as a major player in the global economy, according to Dr Pascal Lorot, president of the Institut Choiseul. The five Tanzanians who emerged in the list include Mohamed Dewji, 39, chief executive officer of Mohamed Entreprises Tanzania Ltd, Genevieve Sangudi, 37, The Carlyle Group deputy general manager for sub-Saharan Africa and Elsie Kanza, 38, head of Africa at the World Economic Forum.

Others include Moremi Marwa, 38, chief executive officer of the Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange and Patrick Ngowi, 28, chairman of Helvetic Group who also emerged as the winner of Tanzania's Top100 mid-sized companies in 2012.
Mr Dewji was ranked second after Nigerian Igho Sanomi.

The "Choiseul 100 Africa" is an original annual study carried out by the Institut Choiseul to identify and rank the young African leaders of 40 years old and under, who will play a major role in the development of Africa in the near future.
Kenya has 10 representatives while Uganda has two.

Growing business leaders, successful entrepreneurs, investors, etc., they embody the dynamism and renewal of a whole continent and carry the hopes of an entire generation," said Dr Lorot in a statement. The study Choiseul 100 Africa was carried out by the Institut Choiseul between summer 2013 and autumn 2014.
Among the criteria were taken into account were the image and reputation, the background and skills, the power and function, the influence and networks, and the potential and leadership.

The total of the scores obtained in the different categories of criteria determined the position of each laureate in the final ranking.

I don't understand why this is considered a Kenya news, but nevertheless congrats are in order, hope you didn't fail to notice Kenya has 10 representatives.

Everything about Kenya (in relation to EA) is bigger. This guys view it a great feat worth celebrating about whenever they outmatch the regional superpower, over even the most trivial of things.

Your obsession with Kenya is taking a toll on you, I can understand your frustration especially now it's becoming obvious Kenya will nolonger be playing in small people's league. The article itself says Kenya has 10 reps while Ug has 2. Dint u read the entire thing? U just saw the caption then quickly proceeded to copy-paste it.

Kenya is always 2wice as big as Tz in evrything..

Hahaha!! I can see the pain but can't relate with, must be eating you up. Kenyans always flood every ranking that involves Africans. You'll always get used to see us breathe on your neck, as soon you see any ranking on Africa top performers, be sure to see a flood of Kenyans.
