Guus Hiddink today pleaded with UEFA not to punish Didier Drogba too severely following his actions against Barcelona on Wednesday night - but stopped short of confirming if the Ivory Coast striker has a future with Chelsea beyond this season.
Drogba has again been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge in the summer, after Blues owner Roman Abramovich and the club's directors were reportedly furious with his post-match verbal assault on Norwegian referee Tom Henning Ovrebo.
But when asked if the striker will be staying next season, Hiddink said: 'That is not up to me, to be honest.'

Uncertain future: Didier Drogba's antics are said to have upset Chelsea officials
Chelsea are expected to sell Didier Drogba in the summer after losing patience with the hot-headed striker's temper tantrums.
Drogba is facing a Uefa charge, and probably a significant suspension, after his furious reaction to Chelsea's Champions League exit at the hands of Barcelona on Wednesday.
And, according to newspaper reports on Friday, Stamford Bridge bosses were so dismayed with the Ivory Coast international they will look to offload him at the end of the season.

GUUS HIDDINK has appealed to Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich not to hit Didier Drogba with a heavy punishment for his hounding of Champions League referee Tom Henning Ovrebo.
Chelsea have already decided to make the controversial Drogba available this summer, if the right offer comes in, after his antics at the end of their Champions League semi-final defeat against Barcelona. The Daily Express can reveal they will now hold on to Nicolas Anelka to lead the line.
...safi sana, kazidi!
Wengine si wapenzi/mashabiki wa mpira wa miguu.
Alichofanya kaka DROGBA wanafanya wengi ila kwakuwa ni black from AFRICA imekuwa taabu kwelikweli.
ABRAM anataka kumtoa ili aendeleze urafiki wake kwa BALLACK akiwa CHELSEA.
Chelsea watajuta kumkosa KAKA DROGBA
Ukiangalia fomu aliyokuja nayo Hiddink Chelsea kwa kiasi kikubwa ili-rely on fitness ya Drogba, akiwa down utaona mambo yatakavyoenda mrama.
Yakumbuke maneno haya..
