Guus Hiddink today pleaded with UEFA not to punish Didier Drogba too severely following his actions against Barcelona on Wednesday night - but stopped short of confirming if the Ivory Coast striker has a future with Chelsea beyond this season.
Drogba has again been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge in the summer, after
Blues owner Roman Abramovich and the club's directors were reportedly furious with his post-match verbal assault on Norwegian referee Tom Henning Ovrebo.
But when asked if the striker will be staying next season, Hiddink said: 'That is not up to me, to be honest.'
