Tupo pamoja 😀LazyDog that's the way it exactly looked amaizing really .. never seen something like that before ... All i did was make a dua for me and my family .. siko so much in sciences i believe God had a sign for us... and all i could pray for was the good ones.
East Africans were last night treated to a rare sight in the skies when two planets Venus and Jupiter courted the crescent moon for several hours, in a rare close grouping of the three brightest planets.
In the phenomenon, which many Kampalans saw with amazement, the crescent moon appeared with the two planets just close to it as brightly shining stars.
The phenomenon happens when Venus, the second closest planet to the sun and seemingly stuck just above the horizon for a couple of months, finally gains altitude in December getting in close quarters with Jupiter, which is headed downward. The big planet will be half as high by December 31, when it has its second close encounter of the month.
"Let's hope this is not one of the signs of the end of the world," a woman said as she gazed in the night sky. The moon is the brightest, smallest and closest to the earth of the three and is 252,000 miles away. Venus, the second brightest, closest to the sun is 94 million miles away from earth, while Jupiter, the biggest of the three is 540 million miles away.
The three celestial objects come together from time to time, but often they are too close to the sun or unite at a time when they aren't so visible.
The next time the three will be as close and visible as this week will be November 18, 2052, according to Jack Horkheimer, director of the Miami Space Transit Planetarium.
However, two out of the three, Venus and the crescent moon only, will happen again on New Year's Eve.

Thanks,
Small point of correction, Venus and Jupiter are planets (sayari) just like the earth orbiting the sun, and not stars (nyota)
We only have one star in the solar system, the sun, the rest of the bodies are planets, their moons and a bunch of asteroids plus the occassional comet that drive by every once in a number of years.
The spectacle must have been beautiful I am sure, but nothing to worry about as explained. When you look at the sky you are looking at four dimensional space-time (3d space and one time) projected on two dimensions of space and one of time, giving the apparent appearance that the planets and the moon may collide, this is a mere illusive effect of the said alignment.
After all, you do not panic when you see cars coming to converge from opposite directions of a road, they are in different lanes.
