Fyi.....approx. 130 children under the age of five die everyday in Tanzania, and 42% of the children are afflicted with stunting due to malnutrition...
the third highest in Africa!

Kenya economy, bcos of the challenges u have highlighted above, is the reason it is growing at btwn 4.5 or 5.6% not at 7+++++%, which is not very impressive, we admit. But it is a good enuff growth nevertheless.

U cannot base your evidence on the poor performance of some few businesses in Kenya, most of which their troubles have little to nothing to do with the external circumstances such as poor economic performance. Their internal problems, ie mismanagement is the cause of their troubles.

If Nakumatt and Uchumi's failures are as a result of the state of the Kenya economy, what then explains Tuskys, Naivas, Mathais, Eastmatts impressive performances?

They did it with China , they have done it with Ethiopia, now its Kenya, eventually their noise will die down and the will have to accept...

If our GDP figures are too stable as the 'economists' wonder, bcoz their prediction didn't come true, We cannot lie about our currency, then can they explain to us why out currency has been one of the most stable compared to other currencies in Africa?

Those guys that claimed that must have forgotten that Kenya rebased her GDP and added things like Mass media, Telecommunication as part of the GDP calculation...and things like telecommunication is big business in Kenya and much more stable , regardless of whether their is election or not, people still call,text,use mobile internet... Infact more people use phones during the elections than ever!
