I am a Tanzanian and I feel ashamed to admit that Smatta is right on most of the points he/she mentioned in his/her posts.
The problem with us Tanzanians is that we are in denial and badly so, a person can never change for the better unless he agrees that he has a problem in the first place, I believe the same goes for countries.
Come on who are we kidding?? Tanzania has illiteracy issues (you don't need to come to this country to see it, just look at the crap some people post in the forum under the name of 'intelligence' and you'll get the idea), poverty, ignorance (you'll see lots of this here too) and a most disturbing disease called 'laziness' whose cause is yet to be known.
The truth will set you free but first it's gonna piss you off, instead of denying it and bickering about it how about we come up with a solution for it instead, take a minute to think about that.
And Smatta before you start feeling good about yourself take a look at your own country first, you would be kidding yourself if you really believe Kenya is the perfect utopia (which am sure you don't since you seem smarter than that lol).
Every country is dysfunctional in one way or the other, there's no point in arguing about it, real talk right there.
