Egypt wins tender to construct major Tanzanian dam

(MENAFN) The Egyptian presidency announced the country to be lending Tanzania a hand in the construction of a major dam on the Rufiji River.
Egypt's top construction firm Arab Contractors was awarded with a contract for the design and establishment of the dam.
Egyptian presidential spokesman Bassam Rady confirmed the company to have been tasked to establish Stiegler's major Gorge dam.
The spokesman added "the dam construction will be done in a way that brings pride to Egypt, Tanzania and Africa."
