English Language thread

The problem is, the writing and speaking skills are shallowly taught in schools, worse enough they're taught by people (teachers) who (Most of them) haven't master the language yet!
Bro, what happens when a blind man lead the other?

So, schooling isn't satisfactory in mastering the language. I advice scholars to put more effort in self-learning through reading books, magazines, newsletters et.c. but most important, practice what you learn!!

True, to most of us English is not our mother tongue . It is not even our second tongue . But when we go to school to learn, this lame excuse ceases to hold water. We go to school to learn . By the way who went school knowing Physics , Maths, History ,Geography etc

Yes . Your grammar is good.
Its true we are not the native speakers of the language...we all learn.
We all try , so it appeared to me absurd the negative remarks thrown to the Minister....

Therefore, this thread is sent before us as a measure/test on how good we can think and write in English.
I have tried to construe your scripture but failed to fathom your intention bro? could you please elaborate further on it accordingly? "a measure/test on how good we can think and write in English?"

Moderator this this thread better be placed to the forum originally posted.... Habar na Hoja Mchanganyiko..... Please, if you wouldn't mind.

No wonder comments will be very short from JF visitors.

However, let us encourage each other as in any language you need practice to master it.

Not only that, we learn by doing mistakes.

So please do not feel ashamed with broken english. Those who command it very well have to politely help those who are struggling to improve.
