Ethiopia reaches out to Djibouti and Kenya to partner on mega projects

Is Vodacom, Tigo Tanzanian? It pains to learn that Kenya, Ethiopia, Sudan and Djibouti are headed to a lucrative economic partnership greater than the East African one na bado tumeshikilia EAC na sasa tunanyemelea SADC dominated south yani kwa kifupi yunapepea Africa mzima.
Stop talking empty, kwanza lapsett ilifiaga wapi?

I think Ethiopia has opened its manufacturing sector for investors, including Kenyans (aka trojan horses for whites?). Most Lazy western investors only want to invest in sectors where they sit and collect rent and capital gains while employing few people. Ethiopia is following some of china route of economic strategy by restricting foreign investment to relevant areas.

Ethiopian telcoms and banking have been cleverly excluded from foreigners, and this is why Ethiopia non-resource based economy is able to build a 6000 mw hydropower station without borrowing money externally.

Meanwhile kenya is borrowing from Tom to repay Dick and Harry, while begging Ethiopia to let its foreign dominated banking and telcoms to go an cannibalise Ethiopia economy.

How much does Vodacom/vodafone UK screw out of safaricom kenya?
You are a very very salty cry-baby.

Sasa mmejifunza kutoa land to Ethiopia, wakati sisi tunatoa ardhi kwa Uganda, thread zilifunguliwa humu kusema Tanzania shamba la bibi.

This is good news, the further you push greedy Kenya away from EAC the better.

This is the best news in this Q2 of 2018!
Kenya is the fulcrum of this region and it's only natural when Ethiopia,Djibouti,Somalia,Eritrea and Sudan comes calling for economic partnerships! EAC with it's laggard partners,Kenya need not be tethered but span far and wide. With the African Free Trade pact gathering momentum, things will never be the same again!

This is a right move in the right direction. The two biggest economies in East Africa co-operating is the thing ever to happen to this region.

Kenya will liberise now even more that IMF is knocking doors at Uhuru's palace due to debt issues.

Meanwhile Ethiopia will liberise once it's ready to do so, just as Chinese have done it!

Prepare to cede more government shareholding and disband government state enterprises, if at all there's still any left.

You do realize Tanzanian has a bigger burden on external debt than Kenya don't you?

Sio kwa povu hizi, umeguswa kweli.....
Ethiopia's population of more than 100 million, doubling that of Tz is a market we have to access by all means and it's happening. Instead of whining and snivelling, you should be strategizing on how to capitalize on this beckoning opportunity.
Mention one manufacturing factory in Ethiopia owned by Kenya!
