Ndio maana hutawahi niona nikisifu UHURU.
What would u have done if u r Uhuruto? Think of this u took loans left n rIght n the economy growth is hardly at 5%. Meanwhile the sectors u were better off i.e. manufacturing n services provision, ur traditional trading partners r challenging ur dominance as they r industrialising n investing in infrastructure fast n at a more affordable cost. That means they r slowly cutting dependence on u! Uhuruto r left with shuttle diplomacy trying to win over news markets as a result DESPERATION.

I think uhuru needs to reconsider his diplomatic strategy...we are signing documents left right and centre but we are always losing....we are meeting with leaders all over the world but if you ask what Kenya is getting from all those meetings, nothing tangible..for instance, I haven't heard any pledge from the Ethiopian PM yet we have already allowed them to access Mombasa plus we are going to buy power from them...what about Cuba?..what are we getting out of the doctors deal? I am very much Team Kenya but I think this giving attitude should stop until countries learn how to reciprocate this goodness...SA tourists have visa free access to kenya...Kenyans don't have visa free access to SA...
si juzi mlifurahia kupewa visa on Arrival na Mozambique na South Africa while the nationals of these two countries enter Kenya for free! Masikitiko ya nn?

Do you think addition of frequency or daily uplift capacity to Mombasa or to any other Kenyan airport leave alone JKIA by foreign airlines can be done without KQ's concent and tacit approval? In IATA/ICAO there's what they call 5 Freedoms of Air (+4 more)of which any member state/airline in consultation with all homegrown based airlines or appointed flag carrier can just do what ET and WB are doing.

Google the ICAO treaty on 5 Freedoms of Air plus the additional 4 that were newly introduced but still binding.
And KQ knows how to pin down it's superiority really well. Emirates did learned that the hard way.

Turkish Airlines is the only one from Europe operating scheduled flights between Istanbul and Mombasa.

That shows how doomed and sleepy their airports are ukitoa kenyatta airport hakuna Airport kenya yenye hizo Europe flights frequently

Tanzania KIA ina hiyo Turkish, Emirates, Qatar, Fly Dubai, KLM, Ethiopian, RwandAir and many more, means JNIA na KIA there's minor differences in international flights lakini Kenya ukitoa kenyatta airport huko pengine ni vichakani wanatua bundi tu

Hapo bado Zanzibar Airport with many international airlines
What is ATCL gaining from all these landing of Foreign Airlines??
Absolutely NOTHING..!!

KQ and ET are giants and are flying all over the World while your only ATCL Bombardier is idle lying at Mwanza Airport for months after one engine problems..

Stay away from this thread.

Stupid question so you want ATCL to get what from other airlines?

You are retarded goon so you want to say what? There are many KQ aircrafts are not flying either for mechanical purposes so what could I help?

KQ can as well fly with equal frequency and uplift same capacity to and fro Dubai, it's reciprocal! Open skies comes with choices and Kenyan travellers are better for it. KQ and EK are in healthy competition,no one is complaining.

Idiot dimwit.

Where did you get it that KQ aircraft are grounded due to lack of mechanical servicing? FYI,KQ fleet is one of the best technically serviced in this part of the world!

shida iko wapi?? KQ has just started flying to Cape town while it also flies to Jo'burg from Nairobi, does that mean SAA is fcuk'd??

what do we get in return? sometimes mkikuyu akili timamu you have a point.....huyu jamaa Uhuru is always dishing out deals to other nations but we ain't getting anything in return...For instance, Cuba exported doctors to Kenya..we give South Africans free visas..again, he offers all africans free entry into Kenya without visas and says that this will happen without the need for reciprocity...now ethiopian airways is flying to Mombasa??? what the fuuck menn?? remember we are also going to buy 400MW of power from Ethiopia once the Grand Renaissance dam is complete...I wonder what this guy is smoking..you do not just give without negotiating something in return...this dude dishes out multimillion dollar deals to Israel, USA, South Africa, UK, Japan, China and gets nothing in return..i am beginning to get worried now

I think the end goal is simply cheaper flights. Direct flights are almost always cheaper than connecting ones. ‍♂️
