Now, contrary to what was expected jpm decided to launch heavy investments/projects which take are not correlated to the level of economy. I don't know what was his thinking about these white elephants projects and what could the source of finances.
The hyper inflation we are having now is due to these opening ups of projects because of economic reasons. For example once you open big projects but not having enough equity or even technique know how, you gonna outsource every thing which is bad to the economy. Eg having many Chinese or Egyptians working in these projects it leads to capital outflow or the so called linkages. This creates contractionary money circulation hence big inflation because some of activities will not flourish due to lack of finances.

Tukiuliza tunaambiwa pesa zipo China lengo kuamisha goliJF kwa sasa, baadhi ya watu wameifanywa kama jukwaa la watu wahuni. Badala ya kujadili hoja, watu wanapenda kutukana. Hii siyo sahihi.

1) Kupanda sana kwa bei ya mafuta Duniani kumeongeza sana gharama za uzalishaji na usafirishaji.
2) Matumizi makubwa ya Serikali, matumizi ya kawaida, matumizi ya miradi ya maendeleo na matumizi ya anasa. Ni kweli ujenzi wa miradi mikubwa unachukua pesa nyingi lakini ili uendelee ni lazima uwekeze. Labda hitilafu ilikuwa kwenye miradi mingi kwa wakati mmoja bila ya kuwa na chanzo kikubwa cha mapato. Ujenzi wa reli ulikuwa ni uamuzi sahihi. Na kama tungekuwa na treni zinazotumia umeme, hata leo hii zingesaidia kupunguza mfumko wa bei kwa sababu gharama za usafirishaji zingekuwa nafuu kwa kiwango fulani kwa sababu umeme tunazalisha wenyewe. Kuwa na umeme wa uhakika nalo lililuwa ni jambo muhimu. Labda swali lingekuja ni uamuzi upi ulikuwa sahihi zaidi, kuanzisha mradi mpya wa umeme au kuongeza uzalishaji kwenye miradi ambayo tayari ilikuwepo. Kwa upande mwingine, kutumia pesa nyingi kununua ndege, mradi ambao ni vigumu sana kutengeneza faida, wakati tayari una miradi mingine mikubwa inayohitaji pesa nyingi wakati huo huo, haikuwa sahihi. Na kuendelea kununua ndege mpaka sasa, ni kukosa weledi. Hata kama waliofanya uamuzi huo mwanzoni walifanya makosa, makosa hayo yalistahili kusahihishwa. Haitasaidia kulaumu maamuzi ya mwanzo bila ya kufanya marekebisho.
Lakini kibaya zaidi, na kinachokera, ni matumizi ya anasa ya watawala wakati tuna matatizo mengi kupindukia. Viongozi wamekuwa wakinunua magari ya kifahari ambayo hayaongezi chochote kwenye ustawi wa nchi. Ni katikati ya matatizo haya makubwa, watawala wamejiongezea posho, na haitashangaza siku tukisikia wamejiongezea na mishahara. Hekima kwa sasa ilikuwa ni kupunguza sana matumizi ya Serikali.

Strictly speaking, JPM has not only destroyed our economy but he was also a looter of public funds in big sums and the looted fund was directed to Chato to establish white elephant projects at the expense of poverty in other parts of the country.
