More information continues to filter about how the European Super League came to fruition and the clubs who pushed for it most.
La Repubblica (via MilanNews) writes how there are 12 big European clubs who will become the founders of the new competitions. Juventus president Andrea Agnelli, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez and the Glazer family – owners of Manchester United – were and have been the main supporters of the project since last summer.
Then there is an umbrella of unspecified American investment funds, and it has since come out that JP Morgan will be bankrolling the league. A central role was played by Elliott Management – the owners of Milan – and with CEO Ivan Gazidis who has a past in the MLS.
News about Barcelona is awaited, as with Bartomeu the Catalan side were ready to strongly support the Super League, but now with Laporta at the helm their membership has become a lot less prominent in terms of talks in person.

Toni Kroos in November: “Unfortunately, we do not decide as players. We are just puppets of FIFA and UEFA. If there were a players’ union, we would not play a Nations League or a Spanish Super Cup in Saudi Arabia.”
It’s sad that the fans are actually the only victims in this drama. The Super League vs FIFA and UEFA is a battle between greed, power and money. FIFA do NOT care for the football fan. They’re just very scared that all of their revenue will disappear. Look at how fast they acted.

Popular Football Bodies are showing disgust for the idea of creating a European Super League. This League was formed by 12 members and is set to kick off in August this year. Manchester United, Manchester City and the other top six clubs across Europe were founding members of the club as well as top clubs in Spain and Italy.
However, UEFA openly announced that any player and club participating in the Super League will be banned from UEFA and FIFA Competitions. Clubs will be sued and asked to pay €50-60 billion for participating. The players who participate in the Super League will also not be allowed to play in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar as feelings heightened.
However Florentino Perez, the President of The Super League has defended the clubs and players who will be participating in the Super League.
He said

Teams that are excluded from their domestic leagues, will start their competition from the fifth tier in their country if they decide to return.
