Even when Milan struggled, the club's academy still produced players Donnarumma, Locatelli, Cutrone, Pessina, Petagna, Cristante, Verdi, Calabria, Bellanova, Di Sciglio, Gabbia, Plizzarri. The Primavera's strong foundation continued to help the club economically or on the pitch.
