Mkuu simu ambayo haikubali hii command usinunue ni fake! Unless yo go for cheaper Chinese version of BlackBerry otherwise BlackBerry made by RIM accept this command and all other original phones whether its Nokia, Motorola etc
i think it is time Tanzanians should stop buying things depending on fake-original phrase!much worse by doing so only with regard to where the particular product came from!that is just pure silliness.
80% of products used in homes in Europe/US comes from China.and i am sure we are approaching 98% limit now.
what we should do is either try authenticating products as per brand instructions or buy at designated suppliers (this is a problem since hao wahindi/tz suppliers ndio fakers number one).
hii tabia tuliyojiletea ya kubrand all things CHINA as fake imesababisha wafanyabiashara wasio waaminifu ku-exploit ujinga wetu kwa kuja na mbinu mpya.
now fake products regardless of where they are made are sold at rocketing prices just because they have made in Germany,UK,US tags!!what clothing company have factories in the US?nike?adiddas?none?they all have them in china.so an authentic nike sneaker is also going to have a made in china tag.and probably a fake one will have made in USA!
when it comes to phones and electronics, much of which tanzanians dont understand is advancements in technology has made production a ver diversifies procedure.
most manufactures have contracts from CHINESE suppliers to provide them with OEM products only for them to put their logo in them.so an IPHONE is made in CHINA for $80,get stuck with an iphone logo and shipped to the US and get sold for $199.
problem is much of these OEM factories are very stricts and they adhere to very strict leakege protocols.last month a prototype that went missing from an IPHONE factory in south of china caused as big as havoc to make a superitendant to commit suicide for dailing to protect the prototype.
Blackberries and all other phones are made in CHINA 70% of the time.so not buying one because it is made in china is plain silly!
ofcourse you can get away with that,BUT there is high probability that even that plane you are flying on was made in china because BOEING's most efficient factory is actually in CHINA.
so it is not about the tags guys,we need education and regulations.hii biashara ya watu kwenda china na kubeba simu 200 kwenye mabegi ndio na kuzileta TZ ndio inaleta haya yote.
