KQ is a full service airline unlike a budget airline like fastjet.

In KQ, drinks or meals are free while in fastjet, they charge you separately

Personal laguage is carried for free while fastjet charges you.

KQ prices are inclusive of tax and any hidden costs while fastjet does not include tax when advertising their fares


Its like comparing uber and regular taxi drivers
One is a luxury car with air con, sometimes even offerd free water, the driver asks you which music you prefere,
The other one is a cheap excuse for transpotation

😀let me laugh though the joke itself is not funny. Nauli ya Fastjet haijawahi kuwa 30,000Tshs. The minimum it has ever reached was 45,000(Tax inclusive) and by then you had to book a month or more before travel!! That fare was only for a few promotional seats, worse still it was not flexible - i.e. if you happen to fail to travel as scheduled you either loose your money or they re-schedule you at a very very high additional cost.

It is not like drinks and meals are offered for 'free', but their costs per unit are included in the prices per ticket. The goal here is to lower prices by offering customers various consumption choices.

Personal laguage= Personal luggage.

The same applies to luggages, this is simply a price marketing strategy.

Promotional marketing stategies also allows advertising product prices inclusive or exclusive of VAT. This depends on the jurisdiction where the business is taking place.

If an airline company is standing out there with a marketing slogan of a low cost airline you should expect to see a lot of these product, price, place and promotional marketing strategies.

The customers are offered choices while their satisfaction is assured.

Wow, the way you've replied. You must be a fastget agent/or something like that.

But still, at the end of the day, there still are a number of things enjoyed in a full service airline that are a luxury or non existent in a budget airline

The fact remains, fastjet cant fill a plane. Poor business anticipation. Jambojet is fully kenyan, fastjet is British. Oh geza, i weep for you Those are average figures and they make jambojet profitable and fast jet loss making. Guess who did their math right??
