Former WWE Superstar, Sean O'Haire Dies from Apparent Suicide

Former WWE wrestling superstar Sean O'Haire was found hanged after taking his own life, according to US reports.


American gossip site TMZ claims local police discovered the 43-year-old's body in the bedroom of his home in South Carolina.
His death makes him the latest in long line of wrestlers whose lives have ended prematurely.



O'Haire -real name was just Sean Haire - made his debut in the now defunct WCW in 2000 going to win their tag team championship three times with with partner Chuck Palumbo.



However he became a household name when joined the WWE, who earmarked him for stardom.



He became the protege of wrestling legend Rowdy Roddy Piper but when the Scot left in 2003, O'Haire's career fizzled out and eventually a year later he was released.






Standing 6ft 6ins tall he had been talked about as one of the most talented wrestlers who never made world champion.

The death rate among wrestlers is alarmingly high, with more than 200 of them dying prematurely since 1990.



In April wrestling superstar The Ultimate Warrior died just hours after telling thousands of his fans: "Every man's heart one day beats its final beat".



The "iconic" 54-year-old, real name James Hellwig, was returning to his hotel in Arizona when he collapsed in front of his wife Dana.



The day before he had just been inducted in to Hall of Fame.

An autopsy revealed he died a natural death caused by atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease although a heart attack was the official case.
