Ni watu wangapi wamejifanya hivyo on twitter? Hebu tuangalie on another perspective.... Twitter, disseminates information and content, you can share links, tweets to others.... Kitu kibaya kikifanyika ujerumani sahii, utakimbilia twitter.... Kama Kuna braking news ya protest Egypt, utakimbilia twitter.... Na unapata news feed minute by minute....... Tena wats best on twitter is that you can tailer it to get only the info you want, you can follow only those you are interested in.... Its only on twitter that people have a voice that when directed at the right place with the right intentions, people can bring change, look at how the south Koreans were able to make their president be impeached by parliament, twitter rallied people to show up and protest, and they shared live tweets ang encouraged others to come and not leave......... Look at how many corruption scandles have been exposed in Kenya and the twitter force has led to the govt bieng pressured to take action..... Kitambo ilikua kukiwa Na chochite utakiskia jioni kwa radio,tv ama kwa habari... Lakini sasa, kila mwenye account kwa twitter Ana uwezo wa kuwa mwanahabari......

On the other hand, instagram is just a picture sharing feed...... No content whatsoever, so what happens when you give that to a society? You create a self-loathing and superficial generation, where the cool one s the one with the nice photo.... People only care about how they look and where they went, no one cares what's on their mind....mnakua watu wa kuringuana Tu, self filtering your photos and blurring the background so you can be the center of attention..

I would advise you read my comment again, and this time slowly, you might realise we're talking two separate things.

I didn't question the importance of twitter, I didn't question the purpose of Instagram either. (Oh btw, you can comment, share whistleblowing on Instagram too, just ask Tanzanians, they will show what is all about, I mean Really Show You).

Kwenye Twitter ni rahisi kujificha nyuma ya pazia while you send a tweet or comment, wakati ukiwa kwenye instagram itabidi uonyeshe kielelezo cha story yako. So wakenya kwenye Twitter wanaweza kujisifia sana bila kujali kuonyesha hali yao halisi. Meanwhile, on Instagram, you mighty need to show something to be relevant.

At the same time the insta chics will be using that time to post selfies of how their nails look cute on the steering wheels.... (ever wondered why instagram has more active women than men),

And BTW, even instagram users lie, even with photos, and theirs is worse, they lie even to themselves, photoshop pics to look almost near perfect..... Others create fake scenarios , always celf centored, at least the guy complaining about traffic is contributing to better governance, even if he doesn't have a bike.

lets be honest. Twitter is used for sharing information and ideas. instagram on the other hand is for the socialites of this world. you can always judge a person or even a society by which one he/it prefers. the Arab spring didn't happen on instagram did it?

It could've happen if they where live and popular then. With tech, nothing is parment. Snapchat is biting a big chunk of generation Y from facebook and Twitter combine.

Nakubaliana na wewe kitu kimoja kwamba wamarekani wana mbinu nyingi, lakini na wao wakijaribu kuji penyesha kwenye nchi iliyozowea kujitawala na kujifichia siri zao kama Ethiopia, wata baki na nini? Another Iraq? Kufanikiwa lazima upate support ya local, kama local ndio wamesha nyeshwa maji ya kugoma si ndio utajikuta kama una anzisha Iraq, Yemen na Syria ndani ya Afrika.

Hakuna siri yeyote mataifa ya Afrika.
Tungalikua na uwezo mkubwa wa kitekinolojia labda kungekuweko ahueni.
Leo hii tunaambiwa Mrusi amedukua siri za uchaguzi Marekani,haijulikani kulikoni lakini hawa wababe tu ndio wenye uwezo wa kuweka siri japo pia yaweza dukuliwa(HACKING).
Mhabeshi anatumia miundo mbinu zote na tekinolojia ya hawa wenzetu,ikiwa ni tarakilishi,simu ya mawasiliano,mashine ,mitambo ya kielektroniki,ndege na kadhalika kwahivyo hamna kitu kama siri hapo......kwa sisi bado sana mwenzangu.
