Graduate Salary: The Market Rate

Hi All,
I just want to know the average market monthly salary for OUTSTANDING graduate in commerce/business/tax/finance or related career specifically in private sector in Tanzania. Can someone share with me his/her experience?

Outstanding? You should be able to get a 'take home' of not less than TZS 600,000 per month.
 
about TZS 2000K but if comes as fresh she /he might start a bit down say TZS 1500K

....correct! many businesses pay young fresh graduates a range of TZS 500,000 to Tshs 1,000,000......!

......Hii ni kwa experienced bana!
 
Depend On Privete Firm you are goin to work...Graduate..u should be able to get 500k +.In one year time u will be in 1000k....plus internal training and and outside.

u can't be serious....

fresh graduate apate 1500k yaani 1,500,000/- man nionyeshe kampuni moja bongo inayolipa kiasi hicho kwa freshers!!!!!
 
Way back 2004 nilianza na 500k ila kwa sasa naona vijana wanalamba 1000000
Si haba ingawa inategemea na viwanda uko kwa telecommunication,media,kwa wahindi watu wanapunjwa sana ila kwa madini,cement etc angalau
 
Depends on the sector/company but average of tshs. 250,000 - 350,000.= most graduates seem to have a problem adapting to some jobs like sales reps where the salary is "low" but the net pay is commission driven. Nahisi wanataka kazi za kukaa ktk air conditioned environment tuu
 

Duh kaka hapa si pesa ytote itaishia kwenye daladala na msosi.......kaazi kwelikweli.....
 
Kwa Tanzania hakuna cha OUTSTANDING wala nini, kwamba vijana wengi wanaohitimu masomo ya BCom wanaoingia kwenye Banking etc wanalipwa kati ya 450,000 - 500,000 but wale wanaingia kwenye Mining au Cement industries wanalipwa kati ya 1,050,000 - 1,500,000/= hiyo ni Gross salary.

This is from my experience kwa kuwa nafanya kazi Barrick Africa

Mkuu, tuambiane ni wapi huko niende nikajipendekeze kwa HR labda nami kwa mara ya kwanza nitaona umuhimu wa elimu yangu yangu?! Niliajiriwa NMB 2004 kama Teller kwa basic salary ya Sh.275,000/=!! Hadi Nov.2008 nikawa nalipwa Basic Salary ya Sh.509,000/=!! Sio siri, kwa salary kama hiyo huwezi kufanya chochote; hivyo nikachukua Loan; basi ikawa my net pay ni Sh.170,000(kisa tu nilichukua soft loan!). Nilipoomba nipandishwe grade coz' i worked as a teller for a long time, nikasukiwa zengwe la kuiba sh.640,000/=!! Ajabu, nilikuwa responsible na posting ya monthly government pension na gvt salary na hata branch manager alikuwa hajui kwa mwezi gvt wanaleta sh. ngapi na inarudi sh. ngapi; lakini badala ya kuiba mihela yote hiyo ambayo wala haikuwa na ulinzi wowote kwa upumbavu wao wakaamini nimeiba sh.640,000!!!! To be honesty, ningeweza kuiba millions of TZS bila mimi kujulikna kv nilikuwa nafanya posting kwa kutumia access(password) ya Mhasibu!!!B4 hawajafanya uchunguzi wowote, nikawekwa ndani na kulazimishwa ku-resign!!! Nilili-resign bila kuchelewa coz' sikuona chochote cha kupoteza (170k per month?!) Na hadi leo sija-regret. Big up Mr. Ole Loibangut and Magdalena Greyson wherever ua!! Hizo ndizo private firms zetu!!!
 

Ata sijui kama nikulaumu kwa kuiba kutokana na hali duni ya kipato kisicho na tija nikizingatia pia kuwa pesa zilizokuwa zinarudishwa zilikuwa zinaingia direct kwenye mifuko ya wajanja wengine, hii nchi mambo tambarare sana, aaggghhh!!
 

I hope you want these data for using other than going back Tanzania to find a job. If the later is your intent, I urge you to ask first if there is any chance for you being employed if you are not affiliated to anyone in top govt level or know specific person who can give you a boost. Otherwise nobody cares about your outstanding performance in deciding whether to employ you or not.

In short there's no opportunity Tanzania if you are an alien in the eyes of employers, you must have godfather.

Whaaaaaaaaaat? Sasa mkuu hiyo ni mtu wa shahada moja au mbili? Kama ndo hivyo kwa shahada moja naomba kazi
