Congratulations to the 254 officers and military personnel of the Central African Armed Forces (FACA) who have successfully completed the basic training for Special Operations Forces (Intake 02/2026), delivered over six months by the Rwanda Defence Force (RDF) at the Nasho Military Training Center in Kirehe District in Rwanda
This demanding training enabled the trainees to acquire advanced skills: shooting with light and support weapons, hand-to-hand combat, crossing rivers and water obstacles, reading military maps, heliborne operations, and other specialized know-how essential for special operations missions.
🎖️ The diploma awarding ceremony, chaired by the Chief of Defence Staff of the RDF, General MK Mubarakh, in the presence of the Chief of General Staff of the FACA, General Zephirin Mamadou, once again illustrates the high level of professionalism, discipline, and expertise of the RDF.
The RDF confirm their reputation as a modern, rigorous army committed to strengthening the capacities of friendly forces. By sharing their experience and high standards, they make a concrete contribution to peace, security, and stability on the African continent.
🤝 The Rwanda–Central African Republic defense cooperation, founded on training, professionalism, and partnership, continues to bear fruit. Bravo to the RDF instructors and the FACA graduates.
