i am an enthusiastic reader, what you are i know what you are talking about when you mention the Igbo , the discriminations subjected to them by the government and their success in Nigeria such that anyone who want to be a president must kneel to them for their resources and power. the analogy that i am disputing is that luos predominantly depend on employment.. this is wrong and debatable. the era of a luo man depending on white collar job was long gone. the community is quite diverse. a part from politics and education... luos are in every sector of development of Kenya. besides, luos cannot go to war, because we love our country kenya and we will live in it hata kama bresident anatoka from the borana community. what i must agree with you is that luos have businessmen and yes they are not as agressive as the igbo of nigeria.. but the community has changed. can you depend on white collar jobs zenye hata haziko? noIgbo's are something else in business, their Igbo Apprenticeship System is being studied even at Havard university.
