The spectre of corruption thrown upon the unimpeachable person of Judge Warioba is not only regrettable, but also shamefully opportunistic.
The folly of this witch-hunt,apart from the fact that it is a thinly concealed fabrication, is that the Kikwete administration need Judge Warioba more than Judge Warioba need the Kikwete Administration.
Judge Warioba, a person of distinguished modesty, world class caliber of professionalism and renown integrity, is at the risk of being sacrificed at the political altar.
In Tanzania, people of the distinction of Judge Warioba are the last of a dying breed. Instead of using their experience and wisdom in the crucial matters of the country (e.g East African integration etc) we risk alienating these distinguished public servants with these petty unfounded and extremely regrettable charges.
Eti Umoja Entertainment! How sad!
Kikwete and his government, if at all this charade originates with them must know that they cannot gain credibility by these puppet show witchhunts, instead they must focus on the real issues, like bringing to court the Rostam Aziz's of thios country.
But that will never happen, since as amptly reported by the internationally reliable "African Intelligence" in 2005, Rostam Aziz bankrolled the Kikwete campaign and election with millions of US dollars.Kikwete has no moral standing to bring Rostam Aziz to justice and instead is attempting all types of circuses distract attention from this real issue.
On the other hand, this article being from Kubenea, and the officials not even acknowledging the charges, much is left to be desired.
